Black Eagle Martial Arts

Black Eagle Martial Arts is the best school in the state of Iowa! Grandmaster Son is sought after worldwide for his HapKiDo technique and teach skills. Master Brandon has done an excellent job of building the school and the Tae Kwon Do student base to what it is today, fostering a great relationship in the community.

I’ve done martial arts with 3 different organizations, but Black Eagle is by far the best! They make sure technique is correct, which has prepared me for my college taekwondo team. Truly the best way to learn martial arts and join a family at the same time!

My 8-year-old son has been training at Black Eagle Martial Arts for last three years, and I couldn't be happier with the experience he's having! From the moment we walked in, the instructors made him feel welcome and excited to learn. They are incredibly patient, encouraging, and great at working with kids, ensuring that every student feels confident and motivated. The classes are structured in a way that keeps him engaged while teaching important skills like discipline, focus, and self-confidence. My girl's have been going to Black Eagle Martial Arts for almost a year now. I am so proud of them! I can see the difference in them! They have become more bolder, stronger and focused. The Masters are amazing and their teaching is extraordinary. Their interactions with the students is very impressive. They bring the best out of their students! A special shout out to Master Brandon, Miss Yein and coach Lexi! I look forward to their journey in Taekwondo!

Highly recommend for aspiring students + anyone seriously interested in self development. Lessons learned at the dojo transcend beyond martial arts.. My son really enjoys this place and have developed a lot of self resilience as a result of his taekwondo training over last few years. All the coaches are excellent and work very had to ensure the core emphasis is on overall development of the students, while still keeping a fun/friendly environment. Very inspiring !!

We love Black Eagle Martial Arts. Our kids have grown so much in their taekwondo skills but also in so many other ways, like discipline, self esteem and other aspects. They have a great program for kids and adults. The adult Hapkido class is one of the best in the nation and we’re very lucky to have Grandmaster Son teach us. They also have so many amazing community events, like runs, bikes, fun nights, and others.
