American Dojo Martial Arts

I started training at American Dojo at 5 years old. Ever since then I fell in love with martial arts and the encouraging, lively atmosphere at American Dojo. Throughout my training early on I was surrounded by internationally recognized black belts with true certifications in Hapkido. Now I have the privilege of being one of those black belts. Grandmaster Konley is true to his word when he says he builds up strong black belts, helping others achieve their goals, and teaching real self defense skills that actually work. All while building up life skills in his students including confidence, focus, self-discipline, and so much more.

The self defense training was amazing. The class gave us so many tools for our tool box one tool at a time and then built on it till you had a number of options when they slowly put them all together. There were so many helpful instructors working with everyone. I really appreciated all of the help and the training to give your brain options in a crisis situation. This is an outstanding community service opportunity given by talented people who care about women’s safety. Thank you so much. Nancy

Class was a success. Learned a lot of materials and how to handle assault and things in that nature. Abby was a great support towards helping with self defense. Thanks again. I will be returning soon with my daughter.

I took a free women’s self defense at American Dojo Martial Arts! The class was practical, helpful, and informative. The staff were very sweet, knowledgeable, and understanding. Definitely recommend!

My daughters and I participated a free self-defense class here today. The whole session lasted 3 hours. The owner/instructor, Dean is very knowledgeable and kind. We enjoyed the course and learned a lot, and highly recommend it to everyone.
