Central Georgia Technical College

Admission Office needs better workers because it is not all of them, but it’s quite a few I’ve had multiple occasions where I will ask a question that the department should have an answer or have somewhere to send me for an answer, but instead they get an attitude or they will sit there and roll their eyes at you. It is also ridiculous that the Cosmotology department has been having outlet problems with circuit blowing and water problems. Like if you were going to provide things for the students you should have resources that work and it is not fair to the clients to be having their hair washed in cold water or students having to use buckets to do certain services in other than the proper equipment. Like y’all just did a renovation why haven’t outlets been fixed and plumbing?

Has been nothing but a WASTE of time…and I don’t have time to waste …..I’ve been accepted into the school for about a month now and have YET to hear back from people I should be hearing from! I’ve called MULTIPLE times and have reached out through email multiple times as well and NO response . When I was calling I would get the SAME excuse .. "someone will be reaching out to you soon" or "I’ll leave your info with …." and no one ever does . What was the point of even accepting me to waste my time ..?

It a good tech school to go to if you are not ready to go to a 4 years love the teachers also there are many tools to help you out with classes from tutor to advisor highly recommended.

Carol in the Student Affairs Division helped me track down my transcript from several years ago when there was an issue in their system with my information. She worked diligently and got the transcript to me ASAP when I needed it fast.

The first time I came was lovely everyone was friendly and the second time I came everyone was friendly the reason for the bad review because they didn't have no hot water in the salon I felt like I did the Ice Bucket Challenge that's how cold that damn water. Well got me is they call me to make sure that I was coming to my appointment why not tell the client oh by the way we've been out of hot water for a couple of weeks and we only using cold water do you still want to come. I would have said no and made plans to go Atlanta to the cosmetology school down there. Because I was getting my hair done off and get ready to go out of town that's the only reason why I let them do my hair. Other than that the students was very very good at what they do they did an excellent job it's just the school is making it hard for the student they need to do better the school.

This place is absolutely horrible with communication. Every time I try to speak with someone from financial aid I get a person in customer service who knows nothing about my financial aid issues. I feel like the middle man because nobody wants to help and I’m stuck trying to figure out everything myself. Not to mention administration doesn’t care about students or faculty. Thank god I have decent professors who care, but the college itself is terrible. 10/10 will not be coming back for spring semester. Not giving my fasfa to a irresponsible ‘college’. GET PROFESSIONAL

This spot is totally terrible with correspondence. Each time I attempt to talk with somebody from monetary guide I get an individual in client support who thinks nothing about my monetary guide issues. I feel like the center man since no one needs to help and I'm adhered attempting to sort out everything myself. Also organization couldn't care less with regards to understudies or personnel. Thank god I have fair educators who care, yet the actual school is horrible. 10/10 won't be returning for spring semester. Not giving my fasfa to an unreliable 'school'. GET PROFESSIONAL
