Znayka - Russian School of Language, Math and Art

We have had a wonderful experience with Znayka- Russian School of Language and mathematics. Our daughter has benefited tremendously—not only in expanding her third language, but also in being fully immersed in the culture. The program has helped her grasp important foundational concepts in reading and writing in a way that feels engaging and age-appropriate. The teachers are knowledgeable, patient, and truly invested in each child’s growth. We’ve seen noticeable progress in her language confidence and comprehension, and she genuinely enjoys attending class. What we especially appreciate is how supportive and understanding the staff are of families’ busy schedules. Communication is clear, flexible, and always respectful of individual family needs, which makes a huge difference for working parents. We are very grateful for the nurturing, culturally rich environment Znayka provides and highly recommend it to families looking to support multilingual development while staying connected to cultural traditions.

After having a rough start at a different center, we've been on a lookout for a place where our child could have a gentle transition to the childcare environment, especially where he could be supported as an English language learner. Our experience at Znayka has been great. The teachers are very accommodating, professional, and make the learning environment fun and engaging. Most importantly, they truly care about the children, which makes all the difference. We enjoy watching our child grow and develop at Znayka, and look forward to continuing our journey here.

We have had nothing but great experiences at Znayka School's ABC123 pre-school-level classes. The classes are well-structured to maintain children's interest and attention, and our child has learned so much--hand-eye coordination and control through all the arts and crafts they do, academic skills several grade levels above age, and of course Russian language skills. We plan to continue with more advanced classes for some time after our child is done with pre-school classes here.

Our 3 kids have been going to Znaika for many years, taking Russian language, math and painting classes, participating in theatre plays. All teachers are absolutely amazing. We had only great experience. Znaika is the best place to start or to continue learning Russian language. We are very grateful to Diana and all other teachers of Znaika . Love this school!. My daughter has been going to this school since she was almost three years old. She did 2 y and went off to kindergarten. Programm is really great, we get homework, they do conserts for parents. Right now we take math and russian classes in the evening and very happy! Highly recommend!

Hi, you may wonder why a 76 year old started studying Russian 6 years ago! Well, I wanted to do something that people said was hard to keep my mind active. I found out that learning Russian was not very hard and also was a lot of fun!!! After 6 years of lessons, I really, really like reading Sherlock Holmes and Doctor Watson stories in Russian and watching the Russian TV series! And reading Pushkin and Lermontov. So, if you want to have a lot of fun learning, this is your chance. Thank you to my teacher, Sasha!!!

Both of my children attended Znayka school. My older one (now 14) started reading Russian at 4.5. All with help of Diana. The younger one started this year and we see so much improvement. We are taking Math, Russian and Art class. She is definitely improved in Math skills. She is still struggling with reading in Russian. But far ahead than where she was in the beginning of the year. A separate note about Art class. Every Saturday I impatiently waiting for her to bring a new painting. The class is simply amazing. We had no idea she can paint so we'll. Reward program is also a big plus for kids. Makes it much easier with homework. Small things matter a lot. Highly recommend the school!
