Kaweah Health Medical Center

Worst medical center I have ever been to. I recently went to the emergency room with my dad for a serious medical issue. When we arrived, we were greeted politely, but that was the only decent part of the experience. Once we were taken back to a room, two nurses were rude, dismissive, and completely disrespectful. They kept insisting on multiple rounds of blood work without properly explaining why. When we requested a different nurse, the replacement was somehow even more hostile and unprofessional than the first. The doctors were no better cold, indifferent, and unwilling to listen. The entire staff acted like we were a burden instead of patients in need of care. After being there for five hours, we decided we wanted to leave and refused further medical care because of the constant rudeness and mistreatment. In response, one of the nurses threatened to call security on us and even stood in the way of the exits, making the situation feel intimidating and unsafe. If you’re dying, you honestly have a better chance at a hospital two cities away.

I recently gave birth to my rainbow baby, and I want to thank the incredible nurses in Labor and Delivery — Nat, Lauren and especially Meghan. They were attentive, compassionate, and made sure my first birth experience went as smoothly as possible. Words can’t describe how thankful I am to have had them by my side. Their kindness and support truly made all the difference during one of the most important moments of my life.

I have had four babies and four amazing births, but this one was amazing. The nurses, hospitalists, and OBGYN were all incredible at what they do- and on top of that, they were genuinely kind and friendly. Dr. Rangel made time to come deliver my baby, despite not being the doctor on call. Hope and Ashtyn were the best nurses with the kindest hearts and most knowledgeable, professional bedside manner. Hands down, Kaweah is a wonderful place to have a baby.

The nurses in the Broderick Pavillion were awesome. Thank you Cathy, Tyler and Leticia and all the other nurses that took care of me. You were awesome. My complaint is like always the parking lot sucks and having to waiting for a bed in the E.R for 15 hours was draining but the nurses who took care of me in the ER was awesome. Thank you.

My visit was unfortunate yet I was taken to triage immediately. CAT SCAN and MRI were both done in a timely manner. I received my room faster than ever before. The professionalism the staff showed was remarkable. Very Satisfied under the circumstances

I gave birth on 11/11.. I ended up having an emergency c section and my nurse Alex did a PHENOMENAL job!! She talked us through everything that changed good or bad her communication was very good and she made what could’ve been a stressful experience into something that was enjoyable. She was very educated and super compassionate. She was definitely made to be a nurse!

Labor and delivery 2nd floor has a great crew, all shifts, although they were overwhelmed with baby deliveries they all worked together with communication and hands on skills with my wife and new born. Quick and speedy delivery thanks to them… unfortunately 3rd floor post partum, we cannot share the same experience. To say this clean as possible, There is a lag/dead zone, in their communications. Keep that in mind future parents…. God bless.
