This school has a bullying problem. I went here to pursue CNA/HHA certification but ultimately decided not to pursue that career due to the hostility I faced both in the classroom and also from individuals in the work environment. This school made me realize that the medical field is where the worst of people go for a career, which was ironic and surprising. The more I thought about it, the more it made sense. When people want a better life, they search for easy and fast ways to improve their income and status, so training programs are the quickest way to do that, not to mention the added glamour of working in an 'honorable' field such as medicine. It's basically a way to 'pad' one's life with social grace, creating space for their other deeds and behaviors. I signed up for the night class, knowing it would be a smaller class with other busy and mature adults. This was partially true, but the full picture is actually more diverse than that. There's nothing wrong with the staff, however I have to be completely honest about my experience. Generally the staff are straightforward, focus on teaching, and are reliable instructors. However, the environment the school creates is a bit cold and sink-or-swim. Kind of felt a bit like a prison, you quickly have to make friends in order for things to go well during your time here. If you do not make friends, things can get bumpy. I'm not very good at speaking up for myself, but that's just because of years of disappointment teaching me that generally standing up yourself is punished, not rewarded. You have to be a bit on guard here because it is cheap for a reason. A lot of parents pay to send their troubled children to school here. I was shocked, however, because the bullying I faced actually came from adults, not only people younger than me. Not just students in the program, but workers at the facility. During the program, you are going to be expected to spend time actually fulfilling the role you are training for at a facility. At the facility, you may encounter nice people, but you may also encounter very un-nice people. There was even an incident where a worker physically tried to intimidate me which I told noone about, as it was all just too much for me and I wanted it to be over with as soon as possible. There was another incident where workers at the facility were laughing at me, which I did build up the courage to reveal to the staff, who were prompt at responding, but only because the instructor that day was the best instructor, mrs rodriguez. Generally, the staff here are fine, but definitely do not go above and beyond for student success. However I found Mrs Rodriguez to be particularly inspiring. Most of the students here will warn you about Mrs Rodriguez, stating that she is strict, 'military', or even mean. There were incidents where students butt heads with her. However, in my personal view, Mrs Rodriguez only asks that students learn to master their job and do what they are trained for. She is not 'strict', she enforces the basic standards of decency and performance everyone else is lax on. Nobody else during my class liked her, but I found her inspiring. She is very strong, and when I think back on my time here, I remember the pain and confusion of feeling out of place and being made uncomfortable by multiple bullies, but I also remember Mrs Rodriguez, who, to me, inspires the hope that no matter what a girl goes through, we can come out on top in the end.

I thought this place was a good place to get an education but instead I got bullied by a teacher who looked down on me and my classmates Mrs.Rodriguez was very rude and very distasteful she threatened me and another classmate with the police I caught the altercation on video and NOTHING absolutely NOTHING was done about it . I’ve emailed and sent text messages no response about the teacher or the situation. We were taught wrong and the school is still trying to get Mrs.Rodriguez to be our instructor. Ms.Erica and Mrs.Henderson has been tremendously helpful and great to us we are more confident with these two ladies right here . I feel like we will succeed if Mrs.Henderson was to stay our instructor at the clinical site and Ms.Erica never lets us fail . If your looking to come to this school and pay money out of pocket think and make sure to ask if Mrs.Rodriguez is till working for them because if she is you are doomed

This school is completely unprofessional and does a terrible job educating its students. The teachers don’t actually teach they sit around eating, gossiping, and ignoring the class while we’re left to teach ourselves. They show up unprepared, act rude, and yell at students over the smallest things. On top of that, they shame students for needing to retake tests, basically calling them dumb instead of helping them understand the material. It’s supposed to be a learning environment, but it feels like a place where the staff does whatever they want while students get nothing but disrespect.

Ms Erica is very helpful to our class love her hands down however our weekend teacher is very rude doesn’t teach us anything and keeps letting the class know it doesn’t affect her paycheck . Or ALWAYS threatening to call the police on her STUDENTS & when the class addresses it to upper management we were told it would get taken care of and come back that following weekend still the same situation. It really has me second guessing do I want to continue my career with them .. ms Erica is literally the ONLY reason I come because she answers our questions and doesn’t always to tell us to look in the book or show us whatever we need to know without an issues . It’s just sad the whole class is complaining about the weekend teacher and nothing is getting done about it highly unacceptable & unprofessional. We are all ADULTS not kids and we should be treated with respect as an adult as well.

Ms.Rogers was one of the best teachers, she’s very passionate about her teaching, very thorough and patient with you if you don’t understand something she doesn’t have a problem staying on the subject to help you she was very nice and understanding she has taught me so much. I’ve learned so many pointers in the field that I will never forget if your looking for a CNA school this one would be a great choice, it has been the best choice I’ve made to attend this school everyone is very kind and welcoming.

This school was incredible my teacher was Mrs. Sam. Mrs. Sam is truly an exceptional educator who goes above and beyond for their students. Their passion for teaching is evident in every lesson, as they create an engaging and supportive environment that makes learning enjoyable and effective. Mrs. Sam is incredibly patient and takes the time to ensure every student understands the material, offering extra help and encouragement whenever needed. Their ability to simplify complex concepts and make them relatable has had a lasting impact on my understanding of the subject. I’m grateful for their dedication, professionalism, and genuine care for their students’ success. I would highly recommend Mrs. Sam to anyone looking to grow both academically and personally!
