Ventura College

Ventura College has two campuses. This is the main campus in Ventura offers a full range of academic programs, library services, student support, and sports facilities. It is the primary location for most students.

One of the best community colleges around. Definitely a great place to start or continue your academic career journey. Very beautiful campus, super large too. Nice buildings all over, tons of places to sit and work or take a break inside and outside. Definitely recommend everyone to check this college out in person. They also have a swap meet here in the parking lot on the weekends. Also worth checking out if in the area. Good deals and some good food. One of the many great places and things about Ventura California.

Ventura College also offers a strong sense of community, with events and clubs that help students connect and get involved. It’s affordable, accessible, and provides a solid education for those looking to transfer, earn a degree, or gain new skills.

This is a nice school and it has definitely improved since I was last there! The staff are friendly and helpful and there are some amazing math and science professor here! I am glad to have gotten my credits from here and appreciate what the school has done to help me transfer out of here. One thing that does suck is the parking, but parking isn't too bad to find on the west parking lot.

I went here for covid test. The TESTING site was very organized. Cars move quickly, and lanes are clearly marked. Go to the WEST lot so you don't drive around aimlessly.

Swapmeet is pretty good. They have good food vendors. Try the cemitas they are delicious. I like that the food trucks are under shady trees now.

Beautiful college. Lovely anchor. I wish this was the university over Channel Islands
