Greater Vallejo Recreation District

I hate to write anything negative about this great organization, but I want to alert others that GVRD charges a 3% fee even on the reimbursible $500 credit card hold for cleaning after an event. We discussed it with them, and they consider it fair to keep the $15.

Just want to give a shout out to Richard and Javier who are at Hillcrest Park with a hardworking team, fixing all the broken sprinklers, edge trimmed, and the swamp mowed down! Wonderful hard working guys who also are approachable and engaging with Vallejo’s citizens, as I politely interrupted them and was warmly greeted! Great team at GVRD! Thank you for all you do! 2 stars is generous. I’m only giving it 2 stars because GVRD is connected to Cunningham Pool and their swim program is AMAZING. Leadership, structure, organization and an overhaul is desperately needed

my car was locked in at the hanns park parking lot before sunset even tho the sign says sunset and the google page says 9pm.

If I could give them a zero I would..GVRD is lucky that people NEED the services they provide..and reading how the administration is responding to commenters explains alot.

So do you guys train people to play basketball or what? Cuz I’m confused
