Fantastic staff. Amanda was very helpful. So many machines and great equipment selection. Particularly love the Pilates classes.
Pleasure working with Rene to resurface 3 tennis courts in our Cooltop by Plexipave. Amazing facility there
This club is a complete mess and a poor excuse for a tennis club. For over 2 years they haven’t been able to figure out how to organize basic tennis club functions like leagues. They run through management quickly and their most recent GM Sonja Maines can’t even manage a lemonade stand let alone a tennis club. She is wildly incompetent and unprofessional and when you expect her to do her job, she will retaliate. Coach KP has many evening clinics which are always canceled. He will cancel if 3 people don’t sign up and then loiter around the club instead of holding class. You have to go through his class when you join the club and when you "graduate" he won’t rate you to be able to join other classes and no one helps get you connected. Every single piece of their tennis program and app is disjointed. They are also notorious for billing errors. Not in your favor. With a monthly charge of $185 for one person, you get literally nothing in return. No organized leagues, no round robins, no one helping you get connected. If you want to take drill classes, you have to pay, which is fine, but KP always cancels. If you are there for social aspects of the club they also can’t keep a social club manager to put events on for long. If you are there to eat, they have a B rating and the food goes along with that rating at best. Don’t waste your time and money here unless you like to waste $200 a month on literally zero in return. I would check out Valencia Country club, The Oaks, USTA, and parks and rec options. Paseo thinks they are the only ones in town for tennis….yet they can’t even manage tennis. They no longer have leagues for tennis or pickleball because they are incompetent!
In the past few months, the club has lost much of the community feeling that defined it for so many years. It has also declined in quantity, with many previously free classes now cancelled. In terms of quality, several amazing teachers have left as well. Additionally, it no longer makes sense to pay a high monthly membership fee when many of the remaining classes can still be accessed through ClassPass for a fraction of the price members are paying.
Last week some members of the FB Group"Socially Feminine SCV" came to the Boozy Bingo at the Paseo Club and we had so much fun. It was hosted by Amanda whose energetic personality got most of us up dancing to the songs that harkened back to eras of our lives that got us out on the dance floor. Ive lived here for a long time and had never been inside the Paseo Club. It was lovely with cozy outside sitting areas and lots of friendly people enjoying the warm summer night with friends. Thanks for opening up the Club to non members for the event. We will be back!💕
Always a fun time. Many pickleball tournaments. Great staff and courts.
This review is solely for the pilates class today 12/12/25 with Alex Youmazzo. I’ve been here before and had a better experience. Anyway, I’m really disappointed with my experience in class today. I arrived on time, was already on a machine, and the class had begun when someone came in late. The instructor realized there was an extra person and stepped out to check the attendance list. When she returned and called out names, mine wasn’t on her list—even though I showed her my confirmed reservation in the app. She told me to get off my machine and go to the front desk. While I was doing that, the late person took over my machine. At the front desk, they confirmed my name WAS on the list and that the instructor must’ve been looking at an outdated version. When I went back to the studio, the instructor told me the class was "full," that they must have overbooked, and suggested I ask the front desk for a free class. Then the front desk said they couldn’t give me one. So I was basically bounced back and forth while my spot—one I was on time for and had reserved—was taken by someone who arrived late. Overall this was extremely frustrating. 1. The instructor should not have allowed a late participant to take a machine from someone who was already set up and on time. 2. The studio really needs a better system. The front desk said the class was NOT overbooked and that someone must have entered without admitting their name wasn’t called. I left upset, inconvenienced, and without a class I was confirmed for. Very disappointing experience.
