Tucson is simple, efficient, and welcoming. It’s a small airport, but everything is well laid out and easy to find. From check-in to finding my way out, the experience has always been smooth and relaxed. Checkout the business center if you are few hours early. It’s one of those airports that quietly does everything right.
This might be one of our favorite airports in the country. It's small and easy to navigate. It has clean facilities, and best of all, if you leave on runway 12, you can usually catch view of the huge airplane graveyard just northeast of the airport. Super cool.
Small but nice and very clean airport. Staff was very courteous and helpful. Directions are very clear and it's very simple to navigate.
Tucson Airport is small, simple, and efficient, making it easy for families to navigate. Check-in and security are smooth and stress-free, and the layout is intuitive. If you have a few hours, the business center is worth checking out. Overall, it’s a welcoming airport that quietly gets everything right.
Great airport. Quick, clean and convenient. Maybe they could figure out a way to ventilate the restaurants. Due to its smaller footprint and lower ceilings you leave smelling like you put in a 10 hour day as a fry cook.
This airport as a whole wasn’t bad, but one of the tsa agents, Vanessa, seemed like she just was looking for weird things to complain about. I had to go through twice because my shoes set the detector off, okay, fine. Then I go through the detector for the second time and she tells me my arms aren’t up "correctly" … I literally travel for a living and in my dozens upon dozens of times in an airport that has never happened. I just stood there for a second and looked over and she literally said "you’re supposed to stand like a ballerina" and I, again, just stood there because I was standing exactly like the photo. and the only reason I even got her name was because the tsa lady behind her said "let her go through Vanessa. She’s fine" and then another tsa guy standing there affirmed it and nodded as well like I was good to go. A few people behind me had seen and heard it and mentioned to me when I stopped in the restroom that I should say something because she was like that to a few other women in line I guess after me. I can only confirm my own experience. But that attitude and weird behavior just isn’t necessary. It was my first time at this airport because I had to leave work last minute to go home, so maybe it was just an off day for her. But it was just so off-putting.
This is literally favorite airport in the contential US. Ask anyone who knows me they will tell you that I go on and on about this airport. It's so easy to get in and out. For those that want to pay a bit more you can park steps away from the terminal. The rental cars are a two minute walk from baggage claim. The longest TSA line I've ever had to endure here was fifteen minutes! Take that DEN! The staff at the airport has always been super helpful. Once when I was running late due to some construction on I-10 the check in agent literally walked my bag out to get loaded on the plane. I love flying in and out of here. I'd choose to drive the extra time to fly here instead of Sky Harbor, I'd probably save the time by skipping the long car rental lines at PHX by coming here! In short, fan-freaking-tastic.
