Mize Art Studio is truly a gem! My daughter’s have flourished here thanks to the incredible guidance of Mr. Mize. His teaching style blends patience, creativity, and encouragement, making every class both inspiring and enjoyable. He takes the time to understand each student’s strengths and helps them grow with confidence, whether they’re just starting out or already exploring advanced techniques. The studio itself is welcoming and full of creative energy—it’s the kind of space where students feel comfortable experimenting and expressing themselves. Couldn’t be happier to have found this studio! My daughter gets bored of most routined extracurriculars extremely fast but she lights up every week when it’s time to go to Mr. Mize’s Art Studio! Mr. Mize is excellent with kids and we especially appreciate his sarcastic humor. He’s engaging, knowledgeable and will go out of his way to help with art, class information or anything else you may need. We love the system of classes and how you don’t need to be there for every one to be caught up on anything, each class is a new one with new techniques brought home every time! Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

We absolutely love Mr. Mize! Our son has been enrolled in his weekly workshops for over four years. Mr. Mize brings professional and creative instruction to every session, and our son brings home amazing artwork every week! He looks forward to class each week and has sparked his love for art!

My daughter loves this studio!! She has met new friends and makes a fun project each week! She recently had her birthday party here and now one of her favorites! It was so easy for me. I showed up with snacks, a few decorations and Mr. Mize did the rest! Highly recommend the art classes or a birthday party here! You and your child or children won’t be disappointed!

Mr. Mize is ABSOLUTELY amazing, and I am so glad I signed my daughter up for his classes. I signed her up for his monthly plan last year, and I have had such a good experience. My daughter lives in town during the school year, but goes out of state during the summer. We pay for the monthly package, but because she was going to be out of town for 2 1/2 months, I wasn’t desiring to pay for the classes while she couldn’t attend. Mr. Mize, not only paused our membership for the summer, but he was polite, kind, and considerate in doing so. His classes are not kids doing the same form of media/art every week. He always switches it up, and is wonderfully patient with the kids. If you have a kiddo who loves art, I highly recommend his classes!

I HIGHLY recommend Mr. Mize and his art studio! My daughter takes a homeschool art class and we have done a class together. She is also having her birthday party here. He is extremely knowledgeable and patient with all ages. The supplies are endless. The variety of projects are awesome. His studio is always very neat, organized and clean. My daughter feels very safe and at home here. Every single step of enrollment was a breeze. I cannot say it enough TAKE A CLASS! You will have so much fun!

My daughter is almost 12 years old, and she's been going to art classes with Mr Mize for years now. She absolutely loves it and our shelves are adorned with all the cool art she's done there. She's met friends in class that have become friends outside of art class. Mr Mize is a great teacher, and he has a fantastic style that keeps the children engaged and having fun. It's a really special place for kids to explore art and creativity.
