The Valley Martial Arts

I'd give more stars if I could! We enrolled our lil guy earlier this year (just turned 4 a couple weeks ago) and he absolutely loves going. The instructors are personable, friendly, professional, and it really shows just how much they love what they do. They have so much fun and he's learning so much! Absolutely recommend for kids!!

If you are looking for a place to take martial arts, The Valley Martial Arts is the best! My daughter started taking karate when she was 12 and has been going for 4 years now. Cody and Courtney are kind, caring, and want everyone to succeed! We have nothing but great things to say about our experience at the Valley Martial Arts!

My kids and I started taking karate classes at Valley Martial Arts at the end of last year. It started as just something my daughter wanted to try, so I am as surprised as anyone by how much we have fallen in love with the place and people alike. I therefore have lots to say for this review, lol. First, even though I (obviously) hope they'll never need to, it comforts me that my kids will know how to defend themselves. And that's how karate is approached here: we learn tactics for self-defense and escape and are discouraged from violence or aggression. Second, I like that the classes teach discipline and respect. Third (and unexpectedly, for me), we ALL now feel more confident in ourselves. Fourth, the people who run and practice at this place are not only skilled and highly-trained, but also warm, patient, and welcoming (of children, teens, and out-of-shape middle-aged moms alike). But it's even more than that: they go above and beyond to support their karate "family" outside of the gym, too. This is NOT your typical martial arts business. This place is exceptional.

My children have been attending Valley Martial Arts for over three years. We are so pleased with all that they have learned and experienced. The instructors are patient, knowledgeable, and go the extra mile to not only instruct, but instill the virtues of the martial arts. Mr. and Mrs. Strain are also good role models that our children highly regard. We appreciate that all of this is available at a cost that is affordable for our family.

Me and my son have been training here for a year. We have both come such a long way in suck a short amount of time. The instructors are amazing and make sure you understand what you’re learning before moving on to the next thing. They will even take time out of class to help with anything you may have a question about and will answer all of your questions to their greatest ability. The classmates are amazing they are so friendly and are always up to helping each other out with training. All in all this school is amazing at what they do and I’m so glad I got introduced to them and started training with every single one of them!

My daughter started going to both the karate and tae kwon do classes. All the instructors are great and helpful. They take the time to help out anyone who needs it and it is a very welcoming place

Cody and Courtney are amazing people. They are passionate about teaching and helping people learn and grow. They will take the time for you. They genuinely care about people and giving them the skills they need. I Would give them 10 stars !
