Berlitz Phoenix Language Center

I am currently attending a University, and I had been having a lot of trouble with the speaking side of French. I could understand it, but I could not respond to questions or statements with any kind of fluency. I wanted to study abroad, but to do so I needed to get my oral skills up to par with my writing skills. When I talked with Kyle he immediately understood the problem that I was having and told me that he went through a similar experience while he was at university. He was very understanding and patient, and answered all my questions making sure that I completely understood everything.  He told me that I would be working with Alex and that I would be doing so in 5-hour time periods 3 times a week.  At first I was very apprehensive about spending that much time with my brain in French mode, and I was worried that I would be mentally exhausted afterwards. However, they told me that I would be able to take a break every 45 minuets or whenever I felt that I needed it, and that I would be more than welcome to eat lunch with Alex if we talked in French. As it turns out, the 5 hours was not nearly as strenuous as I had originally believed it would be and it went by quickly. Alex kept things very entertaining and it was never too repetitive or dull. When I returned to school that August, my French professor noticed the leaps and bounds of improvement that I had gained from doing this immersion program over the summer.  I was also no longer afraid to speak up in class and engage in conversation with my peers because the program at Berlitz raised my speaking confidence as well as my knowledge of the language. Everyone in the office is very helpful and kind, and they will be sure to get you where you need to/want to be. Everyone is very welcoming and always made me feel comfortable, as well as they were always available for assistance. It is a wonderful environment filled with genuine people that only want you to succeed.

they do not have a good individual program for learning English. Reducing the duration of classes is at the discretion of the teacher. waste of money. very sad that teaching in berlitz is not good
