Imagine having to explain to God of leaving a church a one star because you didn't like how they shared God word or what was preech.... I don't think you give Jesus a one start for what he preech regardless if it was what you wanted to hear or not... #WWJD May thy Lord have mercy.... Another note, we love Rancho they have a amazing VBS every summer that accommodate my child with special needs which is huge, they are truly the definition of love & acceptance as Jesus everytime we come. May God Bless them all for what they do & thank you
Let’s bow our heads and pray is not something I have heard from any of the pastors at Rancho, in recent history, yes, even on Christmas Eve. Instead we heard "I pray that you have a good night "or something to that effect. The power of prayer in a group setting is something that cannot be denied. When people go to church are they not looking for that unity in prayer? Like praying before we eat or praying before we receive the gift of a sermon? I invited a friend of mine who had invited me to their church, to come to Rancho; thats when it was first brought to my attention. She said "oh yeah, I’ve been there 4 times, my best friend goes there, the pastor doesn’t pray, which I find really weird." I thought about what they said and sure enough praying as a congregation before and or after sermon is not something I’ve seen done there, by any of the pastors. "Open your Bible’s and turn to" is also something I do not hear at Rancho. "Open your Bible app" would suffice but that doesn’t happen either and the pastor holding an actual Bible is lacking too. RAncho has Christ followers for sure, but where is the fear of God? Where are the Ten Commandments and the fear of God as the congregation works to hold themselves accountable to the basic instructions before leaving earth? Anyhow, it’s taken me a long time to write this and I haven’t said it to the pastors because I’m someone who has anxiety with confrontation. I really hope a pastor at Rancho sees this and replies or better yet, includes congregational prayer and sights the Bible during their next sermon.
We have been coming to Rancho Church for almost a year now, and we’re so glad we found it! The messages are so good and have enhanced our spiritual journey! Despite attending various churches over the years, my husband and I both agree that Rancho Church is the best church we have been to. The messages are great, and Scott, Steve, and Karissa do an incredible job of sharing them with the congregation every Sunday. The worship music is great, and we love the before-service music. We are RV’ers, so we can’t always make it to church in person, but we listen to the service online. We really appreciate all the hard work that the whole team at Rancho Church does to make every Sunday so special!
So far, this church does not talk about politics in their sermons. Love that.
This has been our home church for almost 20 years now. Although there have been times where we didn't attend for periods of time, we always came back. No church is perfect but I've always gotten the genuine feeling that pastor Scott is always striving to be in line with the teachings of Jesus. The messages and overall mission for the church has always been consistent in a sense that everyone is welcome, there is no judgement and to lead with love.
Been coming for 9 years and I can’t begin to explain how awesome it is - the music, the message, events! Love love. Come try it out
Troop 384 meets here nearly every Monday night. 7-8:30pm. Stop by and see us if you are interested in Scouting BSA.
