Loved my time at FSU! My programs challenged me and pushed me to challenge myself and succeed. It did take work and definitely wasn't a cakewalk, but, with effort, the classes were doable. Graduated with a few degrees, so did not have much time for any leisure activities. However, the university offers an expansive variety of extracurriculars and activities for students. I am very glad I chose FSU. Tips: •It is a very large university, so you have to be proactive in getting the advice and help you may need. •For subjects you are having difficulties with, utilize the tutors. •The book series "For Dummies" is a godsend for difficult subjects. •Double check that you are meeting all your scholarship requirements every semester!!! Not doing this caused me a lot of problems. •Make sure you explore ALL your academic and hobbies of interest, even if they don't seem relevant at the moment. Talk with your advisor about this. Examples: foreign language, dance, creative writing, music etc. (If I could go back and start again, I would have taken a different academic pathway, and I wish I would have been given this advice back then.) •Don't be afraid to take a class completely out of your department for fun. I took dance classes at the university just for fun. •Either double major or single major with a minor, even if you have to stay at the university a little longer. This way you can get experience in different areas, and one focus can be practical, while the other one can be for passion and fun. •Have fun, try different hobbies and activities.

They campus is absolutely gorgeous and we had a great tour here. The area is really nice as well. I can't complain about the weather either since I was born and raised in Florida and it beats the freezing cold. They have good academics and are well recognized, at least in my perspective and I can't see a valid reason I personally wouldn't want to go here - meaning I think it would be a great school to attend. It's also in the states capital, which for my major is a huge perk.

They make sure that the students always have something fun to do instead of class work and test.

My son has attended two years at FSU with the associated costs of housing and transportation to and from his home. He only gets online classes. We tolerated that his freshman year. Now his ENTIRE sophomore year are online classes. FSU even has the gall to charge more for online despite not needing the space or the professors to teach it. The classes themselves are weak, multiple choice oriented for the most part and lack any educational benefit that you couldn't get from reading a book in the library. Awful university.

This was a great campus to go to. I went here on a field trip and it was the most beautiful campus. The scenery was nice and the buildings were clean and spacious. I highly recommend taking time to go see this university.

Wonderful institution with highly renowned and quality professors. Most beautiful campus in the state scattered with aged live-oaks, historic buildings, and an incredible landscape design. Unmatched access to the Florida State Capitol. Tours available through the FSU Visitors Center at the stadium.

Lots of history, a beautiful campus and the football stadium is the second largest brick structure in the world pretty impressive
