I loved the massage. The girl was very professional. I will definitely come back. Highly recommended. Clean, quiet, peaceful massage. I’d go to Moon Spa again in the future. Absolutely worth it A very relaxing all over massage. Very quiet and serene environment.

Long story short, I read all the reviews for this place and did not listen… new to Stamford & wanted to find my goto Massage place. So, I went yesterday and brought a friend and we learned the hard way. This place is seriously horrible. Save your money. We left not relaxed at all. Not to mention, you hear the karate class next-door. Rude from the moment we walked in. No privacy and left the curtain open so everyone who passes by can just stair at you. My lady kept yawning so thats all u can hear along with the music skipping. U can hear each time someone went to the bathroom along the toilet sounding like it going to burst thru the walls, all you can hear are people/new customers coming in. It wasnt quiet at all. Period!! They dont no how to properly give foot reflexology. I could have done what was given. ON TOP OF ALL OF THAT, i leave a reasonable tip on the chairs and we walk to pay for the services. One of the ladies had the audacity to tell the front guy that she needed a better tip. As im handing him cash to pay & leave, he goes " she said 20 is better for a tip". Excuse me?? Im all for tipping. The fact that she came up front and said she wanted a better tip is INSANE. Maybe do better as a business & masseuse? Wild. Do not go here. If i could give this place 0 stars- I would.

As I am leaving my massage I hand the lady a good tip and she has the nerve to yell something out to the owner. I then got chased out and demanded a better tip.

Love Moon Spa! Very clean and professional staff. Massages are amazing! Staff are very receptive to tailoring to your preference. Front desk is always accessible to make an appointment (even last minute). Very quiet and tranquil space. Very fair priced and highly recommend.

I read all of the recent reviews and decided to give this place a try anyway. Overall, it was fine but I probably won't be back for a few reasons. Yes, I did hear the kids from the karate studio next door but eventually I tuned them out. If you are very sensitive to noise/sounds, you may find this very disturbing. But what mostly turned me off was the gentleman at the front desk, which should come as no surprise based on the other reviews. When it came time to pay ($60 for a 60 minute massage), I gave him my credit card and said if he had change I would tip in cash. He pointed to the sign on his desk that says "Cash Better". I repeated I would tip in cash if he had change and he said he did. I intended to tip $15 for ease of making change, but then noticed he charged me a $2 fee for using my credit card. I asked him for $8 change and he said, "Why? $15 tip would be better" and he turned the "Cash Better" sign around to show me his "tip guide." I responded that it would be better if his credit card fees were posted properly and said I am tipping 20%, please give me $8 back. After much walking back and forth and digging in his drawer, he gave me the change and I left. The massage was fine. The towel used to cover me smelled slightly musty, but otherwise the place seemed clean. But haggling over a tip after a massage is not relaxing and the expectation (and demand) of more than 20% is bold, considering the average facility, noise, and added on and non-disclosed fees. The masseuse was sure to show me her 60-minute timer when she started and she did not go above and beyond for the demanded extra tip.

My massage was great. The person who did my massage was great. She did a good job. The hot stone treatment was only for 5 minutes. But it was very loud. I was super disappointed when I heard all this noise throughout my massage. Excellence massage just very noisy.
