Reveal Martial Arts Southlake

This is a wonderful nurturing environment. The Owners and trainers are very friendly, and accommodating. My child started here a month ago, and she absolutely enjoys it. One would think that this is about martial arts, but it’s actually about discipline, respect, growth, and development for children and young adults. The price is very reasonable. Top-notch people here! I do not write Google reviews often, but I feel that this is one of those special businesses are really special and has helped improve the quality of life for my child, as well as my family.

Our experience with Reveal Martial Arts in Southlake has been incredibly positive. Before starting classes at Reveal: Before joining, my child struggled at times with focus, confidence, and discipline. Like many kids, he was still figuring out who he was and how to manage his emotions, school responsibilities, and social situations. How we enjoy the classes: Both my child and I truly enjoy the classes at Reveal. The instructors create a welcoming, structured, and safe environment where kids feel supported and encouraged. My child looks forward to attending, feels comfortable being himself, and is motivated to work hard. As a parent, it’s reassuring to see how much care and intention goes into helping each child grow. What has changed since starting at Reveal: Over the past couple of years, the growth has been tremendous. My child has learned so much about himself, and I’ve learned a lot about him too. His discipline, behavior, and social awareness have improved significantly, and this has had a major positive impact on his schoolwork. He’s excelling not only in martial arts, but also in other physical activities and academically. Most importantly, he’s gained confidence, built meaningful friendships, and genuinely enjoys those relationships. I truly commend the team at Reveal Martial Arts for creating such an amazing environment where children feel safe, supported, and challenged to work on the things that really matter. We are very grateful to be part of this community.

Prior to starting at Reveal my son had been taking karate for several years, but I often had to drag him to class. Since starting at Reveal he has been running out the door to go to class and asking for more! He loves the teachers, who do a great job of keeping him motivated and giving him feedback. I appreciate that the studio owners know everyone by name and are always hosting fun events like parents night out and tournaments. The leadership class is especially unique and beneficial for long term confidence!

Reveal Martial Arts is a great Martial Arts program. During the classes I have seen them encourage and praise the kids all the time. They have helped my son bulid up confidence. From the first day my son has shown so much improvement in self discipline and confidence. I love watching my son grow doing something he loves.

My husband found Reveal Martial Arts in a panic when his schedule changed and we needed summer care for our son. We have never had him in a camp or childcare that wasn’t school or family. He went for 5 weeks this summer and LOVED it! It peaked his interest in karate so we did a 4 week trial that he also LOVED so now we are in for the next year and couldn’t be happier!!! Update: my son has been going to reveal classes twice a week since August. He is now a yellow belt and he feels so confident! Watching him progress each class is fantastic. The staff and owners are so supportive, it’s such a lovely place to be. My son said today he will be sad to miss karate while they are out on Christmas break. Update #2: We are now in our second summer camp session and my son is thrilled to spend his day at Reveal. He is challenged daily while having fun! He is now doing an 8 week trial of their Leadership classes. In these classes they focus on public speaking, positive attitude, respect and karate. These are skills that he will carry with him through the rest of his life. I cannot say enough about the positive environment he is in everyday and we are so lucky to have found Reveal Martial Arts.

I’ve trained in Taekwondo since 2013, but I started training at Reveal Martial Arts in the beginning of 2021. Even as a high schooler, I was excited to show up to class for the positive environment and the learning that takes place, and it’s one of the many reasons I still call this studio home. Now, I’m studying in college while teaching as an instructor 5 days a week, and Reveal has created a fantastic opportunity to keep doing what I love while helping others grow in their journey to confidence and discipline. While I’ve been to other studios across the country, I can confidently say Reveal just has it. This is the place for growth, learning meaningful martial-arts skills, and invaluable life skills beyond the mats.

We cannot say enough about the Spicar Family and Reveal Martial Arts! The instructors are always welcoming and encourage students to give their best efforts! I wish we had found them sooner!
