Simi Valley Unified School District

Everyday I went to one of svusd schools I wanted to drop out and mine coal in Virginia. Wish there was a way to put a review of zero stars. If your gonna send your kids here, Don't. If you have no choice than just home school them.

i wish i could give 0 stars this school district is a joke they dont care at all about the students and dont try to make any improvements. i went to their public schools for 10 years and tried my hardest but when you cant do the excessive work they give you instead of helping you they will treat you like dirt and as if something is wrong with you. i tried to get an IEP for years and when i was finally approved of one i was told i have to switch schools. they seem to only hire idiots. they work against the students instead of working with them i would not recomend any one to send their kids to one of our schools.

This district employs teachers and administrators that are verbally abusive to students and substitute teachers. They also fire without any due process, while teaching government and court practices in their schools. If you have any challenges at all, avoid this mess.

This district is a peace of work . They will not release my kids from the district and are forcing us to attend Simi Valley over populated schools . They are making the process so difficult and stressful. Now I have no choice but to home school my kids for a whole year .

Editing 7/14/20: If your gut tells you for yrs on a daily basis (most of) district isn't prep'd, organized or trained to handle someone different, a left field situation or an emergency/crisis, chances are in a Covid world, you and your gut these days are... well, goes without saying? Original post: 0 star. No minus option available. Believe what you heard, do your own research beyond lazy internet queries, ask questions, document everything, trust your gut instinct...
