Global Minds Preschool

We cannot recommend Global Minds enough! Our daughter loves going to school and is picking up Spanish so quickly. All of her teachers are amazing and we love all of the crafts and drawings she brings home. We get videos and pictures throughout the school day, which is so nice. We are very grateful and so happy we made the choice to send her here.

Global Minds has been amazing for our family! All three of my daughters attended, and we love everything about the school. The teachers are caring, the environment is nurturing, and our girls have grown so much. They proudly tell friends and family that they know Spanish and Chinese—such a wonderful gift from this school! Highly recommend!

Our daughter attended summer camp at Global Minds having never been in a language immersion school before. She was in both Mandarin and Spanish classes and all the kids and staff were very welcoming to her. And patient with her, too, as she didn’t always know what the instructions were! She always came out at the end of the day with a smile and new knowledge. She brought home interesting and engaging projects. It was a great experience for our whole family.

When we first enrolled, the director was welcoming and the school had a wonderful teacher who created a positive environment. That teacher abruptly left mid-year and the atmosphere changed. There was frequent staff turnover, communication was inconsistent, and the overall stability for the students declined. In my experience, the director seemed more focused on keeping staff satisfied than on fostering a nurturing environment for the children. When concerns were raised, the discussion became tense and unproductive.

Global minds is an amazing little full immersion preschool. To be honest, I was skeptical at the beginning. However the world of difference I saw in every single kid from the beginning of the school year up until the end amazed me. Every single kid was speaking, singing and understanding when spoken to on either mandarin or Spanish. Some kids in both ! Owners are always on site, native speakers … as the rest of the staff… and hands on. Environment is a welcoming, nurturing one. Installations are clean. Can’t say enough good things about this place. Happy to see a school like this in the area. Not too far there’s an IB (international baccalaureate) elementary, middle school and high school where these kids can further their language journey.

We have been sending our daughter to Global Minds for a couple years, and have only wonderful things to say. We chose Global Minds not only because we think it is important to have exposure to foreign language early in life, but also to surround our children with a diverse community of friends and their families. We have made close friends with other families at the school, and appreciate the likeminded philosophy towards growth and learning. The teachers are excellent, and on the weekends our daughter asks when she gets to go back to school. My father, a native mandarin speaker, is impressed with her pronunciation and intonation. We always feel that our daughter is well looked after. We find Adam to always be very kind and accommodating, and can tell that he genuinely cares for all of his students. We are excited to send our younger daughter when she turns 2!

Excellent place for young learners, the staff is caring, dedicated and provide an environment where children thrive. The facilities are clean, safe and filled with engaging activities that spark curiosity and creativity. Our son has acquire the ability to speak Mandarin effortlessly and naturally.
