Hardy Brown College Prep

If I could give this school zero stars, I would. I actually went here, and my experience was terrible from start to finish. We have a principal who calls kids dumb and stupid, and who gets into arguments with little kids instead of being a role model. The teachers are no better — many of them are just strange, unprofessional, and dishonest. The music teacher was known for inappropriate behavior, and instead of removing bad teachers, the school just keeps hiring more of the same kind. Teachers constantly lie on students, and instead of helping kids, they’re quick to threaten or punish us unfairly. The lunch is disgusting — half of the meat they serve is pink, and kids are starved over one bad grade. Some teachers even threaten to take away our food if we don’t line up fast enough. The school tries to force everyone to "be a team," but why should we suffer for what other kids do? I don’t even know most of these students — I don’t want to be part of a team where I get punished for someone else’s behavior. On top of that, teachers are doing inappropriate things on TikTok, putting their hands on students, and acting completely out of line. This is hands down the worst school I’ve ever attended. And don’t get me started on the uniforms — over $100 for a full outfit that rips easily and falls apart. It’s like the school only cares about money. Honestly, this school needs to be shut down like the other Hardy Brown campus. Unless you want your child in a place full of bullies, bad food, and teachers who don’t care about students, do NOT send them here. You’d be better off sending them to a boarding school or homeschooling them.

I love Hardy Brown, it is a great school. My son attended school there k- 6. When he went to public school he was like 2 years ahead. He was reading books he had already read in prior grades at hardy brown also he was doing the same math he had learned at hardy brown as well. If we didn’t move he would have stayed there through the 8th grade.

Hardy Brown is an amazing school that stands on integrity, character, and a true heart to not only teach our babies but pour into them the love and tools necessary to not only have prosperous futures but to become EXTRODINARY people who show up in the crazy world. And it’s because of the care of the staff all their efforts and great leadership. We need more schools like this all the way to high school and college.

Principal Bell is dedicated to education, committed to the personal and academic growth of each student, and cares deeply about the life and family of each student. Lives in the community he serves. Identifies with the needs of his student body. Brings stellar HBCU education of Grambling State University and Master level education at Stanford University, and years of teaching experience to Hardy Brown Academy. Models the achievement he offers to his students. Man of integrity. What a blessing!!!

I know this school is 5 stars because of the leadership. Raafi Bell is a great leader and great principal and the students here are blessed to have him and his team. 👍

I went to HBCP for 3 years and today I just graduated and I really love this school and the staff and teachers I had amazing friendships here coming here gave me a better opportunity to learn more advanced things that usually normal elementary schools or middle schools doesn't really teach this school taught me how to be responsible, respectful, and hard-working but now I'm going to high school now and I going to miss everyone in HBCP 💗💗💗
