Kumon Math and Reading Center of San Angelo

I am grateful I chose to enroll my daughter at Kumon San Angelo. I researched the program prior to signing her up and I knew it would be beneficial. She is going into high school and has struggled with reading and reading comprehension from the beginning. She has an IEP and accommodations, which has helped her "get through" school, but I wanted something more for her. Reading affects everything we do in life. I wanted to find help to reinforce the foundational skills to improve her reading. She has already made so much progress in her time at Kumon. She enjoys her time in the center and looks forward to her Kumon time at home. It has become part of her daily routine. The staff is wonderful and warm. They care about your child's success and are proud of their progress. As a parent, I couldn't ask for anything more. It has been a wonderful fit for our family.

Kumon has been a wonderful for my 9 year old daughter. She has had the opportunity to gain knowledge in math and reading. That knowledge has increased her confidence in school. The staff at Kumon are kind and put the children first.

We enrolled our 5 year old into Kumon prior to beginning Kinder. He really enjoyed the one on one learning and excelled in his kinder year! My husband and I both are appreciative of the staff and owners for their dedication to learning and bringing the Kumon method to San Angelo. 10/10 recommend.

My son loves Kumon! He is gifted in math and wanted more than the school could provide for him. Kumon allows him to advance his skills. The staff is mostly teachers or college students and he enjoys seeing them all twice a week. Kumon has been a blessing to him.

My daughter has Down Syndrome. She just wasn’t learning to read at all in the SAISD life skills program. By the time she started 7th grade she had become apathetic toward learning and incredibly self conscious about not being able to read and write. The general consensus of her educational team was that she wasn’t capable of higher thought processes or retaining enough information to continue pursuing educational goals. They really pushed for solely focusing on teaching my daughter vocational skills. I knew she was capable of more. Dr. Podaralla recommended bringing her to Kumon for an evaluation. When she first started at Kumon she knew her alphabet, the sounds that most of the letters make and a handful of 3-4 letter sight words. After only 3 weeks at Kumon she was reading independently. Kumon has given her so much confidence! She’s enjoying learning again and she’s excited to do her Kumon homework. I HIGHLY recommend this program and this amazing team of educators!

I cannot recommend Kumon of San Angelo enough. Our experience has been excellent. Since beginning with Kumon our son had a 98% increase in his math assessment level at school. If you are looking to help get your kid up to speed or seeking for them to be academic leaders in their class look no further than Kumon of San Angelo. You will not regret it.

This place has really helped our daughter, she is advancing faster than expected. We can not wait to see how much more she will advance by the summer.
