Kovar's Satori Academy of Martial Arts - Roseville

Kovar’s is an excellent program. In addition to martial arts, they teach life skills and valuable lessons. My daughter loves it and I’ve seen positive improvements in other areas of her life thanks to Kovar’s. The instructors are professional and kind. The classes run smoothly and efficiently. Highly recommend!

My son started about two months ago and with consistency has already earned 2 tips on his white belt. We love coming here, it’s building his confidence as he’s only 5 years old and I love that he is learning discipline as well through the creed and motto. It’s a 5/5 experience.

They are a great team at this location. They are all so great with the kids, each teacher so different from the next but they really make it happen when it all comes together! I love that aside from what they’re teaching they are constantly talking about good habits/health, getting along at home, at school, respecting parents, etc. Roseville Kovars we love you!!

One of the main reasons I went with Kovars was the schedule. I like that there are earlier times and post dinner times available. When you have kids who are involved in several extracurricular activities, I need as much flexibility as possible. The coaches are easy to talk to if you have concerns. The two coaches we had/have the most interactions with were Coach Shepard (miss him) and Coach Calvin (super welcoming and funny). My kids don't like it when I make them go more than 2x a week because they said it's too repetitive but I think that's good for them. I wish they had a better system of notifying them when you child does well. I wish it was part of the account or maybe even a Google form link would be helpful.

Great structure and curriculum. Fun, easy to learn at your own pace. The staff makes you feel as part of there Kovar's family. Overall great experience.

Our six year old son has been attending Kovar's for 10 months in their Little Samurai program. Our son's Kindergarten teacher recommended Kovar's to us because her son had gone through their program, and she loved the principles and values that they taught him. We are so grateful for her recommendation because we have seen such an improvement in our son's social skills and focus. He loves the classes and is ACTIVELY engaged in each one. The instructors are extremely dedicated to the students and are so patient and caring. They also go out of their way to chat with the parents and are always welcoming to anyone that walks through the doors. We are now recommending Kovar's to anyone that shows interest in placing their child in a martial arts program.

Friendly and supportive staff, focused on teaching responsibility that comes with the training they do. Quality experience for more than a year for our family, and many belts to go!
