Customer Reviews
Monroe Community College has a rating of 4.2 out of 5 based on over 423 reviews on Google
Great advisors, the ones I've worked with anyway. They truly want you to succeed. I was helped every step of the way, from major changes to contacting admissions at the four-year college of interest to confirm credit transfer related concerns. I suggest using RateMyProfessors to look up and compare professors. That goes for any college or university.
The theater was a good looking space and the seats were comfortable. Google maps eventually got me there, building 4, but it had issues. There is handicap accessibility ♿️ in the front row and second level. Accessibility is via the main ramp.
Forced politics into every program: check Financial aid hardly ever answer emails, yet have the audacity to send warnings that a bill needs to be paid, BEFORE said bill is sent: check Low level remedial courses serve as pre-requisites for higher level courses, yet mid level courses hardly serve as pre-requisites for any course: check Kids and teachers that preach on and on about inclusion, tolerance, acceptance, and keeping an open mind, yet seek to judge, condemn, and punish those that don't have the exact same stance as them: check Cuz apparently, what else can be expected from modern day academia?? I could go on, but why bother...speaking of which, if you who are reading this are considering enrolling in this particular school, make sure that you ask yourself that exact question: why bother? TLDR: too consistently aggravating to ever be worth it
One of the best community colleges for affordability and professors committed and adjunct doing the businesses they train. Decent facilities and sports.
I was here supporting the use of Geotechnologies & Geography on campus… Everyone I met from The library to the students to the faculty are all top notch & the facilities are great.
Can't see anyone around the corner in parking lot J. Almost been t boned cus all I can see to my right is a parked cars bumper. Financial aid staff are unhelpful. I could go on. Bookstore is expensive and threw me an error for "unmatched addresses." My patience runs lower every year I attend. I have more complaints but then staff would know who I am so let's just say I'm not even gonna finish my degree here because I cannot tolerate it.
Disgraceful and discriminatory institution. Despite having a documented learning disability and 504 plan, I was denied reasonable accommodations—was told it is "unfair to other students." I enrolled in a "fully asynchronous" class, only to find out that it required in-person exams. This was not communicated clearly on the course information page. I work full-time and would never have enrolled. Now I’m being billed nearly $1,000. Completely unacceptable.
