NextGen Flight Academy

NextGen Flight Academy is where it’s at!! Took my discovery flight yesterday and had a blast! After two months of researching all things zero to hero, I finally pulled the trigger and scheduled my demo flight with NextGen. Everything about them, from their website, to their clean facilities and offices (yes, I visited both their Riverside and Redlands locations), to the friendly, polite, and exceedingly helpful staff, made my decision to try them out all the easier. They have been more than happy answering my hundreds of questions! My CFI for the demo, Anika, made the experience enjoyable and educational. She even let me take off…with assistance of course! Getting to have control of a plane has been a life long dream!!! I think it goes without saying that after I can be sure I pass my class 1 Medical Cert, that I’ll be using NextGen Flight Academy to take me from zero to hero! Blue skies ahead!!!

My dream job was a pilot long ago. So I tried the discovery flight! My instructor was Kyeoungmin Yeo. I was surprised that I met korean instructor haha because I'm korean too. Anyways it was really fun to try flight. I could get this beautiful experience thanks to Mr.Yeo. He taught me many details about flight. Especially the overview after flight was interesting. I recommend this to someone who is interested in flight. Thanks for Nextgen Flight Academy. 😊

My flight instructor was amazing. Very thorough and paid close attention to detail. He also pushed me to be my best and gave me chances to show my skills. 10/10 definitely recommend. The flight debrief was amazing and learned so much about flying in general. My instructor Kyeoung min was absolutely amazing.

Great experience! My kid is all about airplanes and wanted to explore the possibility of one day becoming a pilot, so I brought my kid here to explore that option. Now he's hooked! Michael was a wonderful instructor. All the staff my kid and I interacted with were also wonderful and helpful people. It was so worth the experience and will be bringing him back.

If you like getting robbed and having Amanda tell you there's nothing you can do about then this is the place come to. Absolutely a complete joke. We had a flight scheduled for 12pm as a birthday gift. The company assured us that the weather was great for that day and that we would be able to go. An hour before our flight, they called and said we couldn't go out for our flight because the clouds were too low. We watched as planes took off and landed for about an hour. I explained to Amanda the manager that we were very disappointed that we didn't get to fly but we would appreciate a refund. In a few words or less she pretty much said "kick rocks" we already have your money so you can go pound sand....... completely unethical to not offer a refund when the issues comes from them. Would not recommend this clown company to anyone. Go to chino or corona, much nicer and more friendly staff. Its amazing that they respond to criticism by lying about what happend. They called us at 11:10 to cancel our 12pm. Also I never mentioned anything about bad reviews or credit dispute until Amanda decided to be rude and tell me that there is no way to get a refund even though it was no fault of our own that we couldn't fly. Their pitty attempt to reschedule our flight was worthless, what's the point of having a scheduled time if they're gonna tell you come back some other time. Lack of integrity is the reason you shouldn't support this business.

Had a terrific experience flying with Kyeoung. Our flight experience started with all the math and physics for pre-flight prep and then we moved to the safety checks with the airplane. The experience got real once we got into the plane and went through the checklists. Took off and flew around Lake Matthews and got to see the landscape from a much higher perspective. Circled around several times and he allowed me to take control. Flew back to Riverside airport and had a soft touch landing. Kyeoung then spent several minutes with us going over our flight debrief. A great flight experience and would definately do this again!!

I had today my first flight— I feel so happy 😀 and I am lucky that I chose NextGen Flight Academy and 👏 to my Instructor Max. He explained to me every detail. It was unforgettable feeling every minute of my flight. Moreover the staff are amazing— Crystal & Rebecca are very welcoming and friendly! Can’t wait to be back and fly more with you guys!! 😀 ✈️ this place is 10/10 👍
