On-Site Family Martial Arts

I have been a student of Sensei Harry for more than 20 years. He is an excellent teacher and martial artist. He embodies a Sensei. His best ability is what he sees when he is watching students and teaching classes. He can see what can help the whole class as well as the individual student. He builds on a student’s strength. He has a true joy of teaching and martial arts. He brings that to class every day. He taught me how to teach, learn from teaching and know that I will never stop learning. Martial Arts are a lifetime of learning. That is the art. Sensei Harry has working with many students of other Martial Arts. He respects those styles, and builds upon them with Isshin Ryu by working with the similarities and the differences. With Sensei Harry, you will get respect and a love of Martial Arts and have fun at the same time.

On-Site Family Karate has been a part of our family since the 90’s. My son and I began taking classes there when he was six, and we even held his seventh birthday party at the dojo. The classes were always fun, the instructors were incredible, and the people we met there became our friends. Eventually with life changes we moved away from the dojo, though it was very much missed. But as fate would have it, twenty years later after suffering a lengthy illness and incapacitation, I thought the dojo would be a good way to regain the strength and fitness that I had lost, as well as the mental health benefits that comes with the study of martial arts. My son, now 32, decided to join me once again and we are back to taking classes together. All of the instructors are still the best. Sensei Harry is kind, patient and knowledgeable, believing martial arts is for everyone. He pays close attention to individual needs and challenges and is always prepared with modified versions when needed. It’s been so wonderful to be able to share this with my son again, and at 68 years old I’m grateful that I am back in fighting shape, and feeling better than ever. I’m so happy to be back at On-Site Family Karate.

My children have been attending On-Site Family Martial Arts for a couple months now. They are learning quickly and we are already seeing an improvement in their confidence, self control and respect. Sensei Harry and the other instructors engage their students in a fun and enjoyable learning environment with a program that focuses on teamwork and community. My children look forward to their class every time!

Our kids really enjoy their classes here. Sensei Harry is great with them. He’s able to teach them respect, discipline and the other principles of karate in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. Classes are very reasonably priced and the schedule is extremely flexible. It’s been a great experience and I highly recommend On-Site Family Martial Arts.

Been attending On Site Family Martial Arts since November. They’re real good with the kids. They can keep my hyper 5 year olds attention while teaching valuable self defense skills.
