Global Friends Language School

I love that my kids got a leg up by learning Mandarin from a young age. Both kids went to Global Friends, starting as babies and graduating into Kindergarten. Over the years, the teachers and other families have become an extension of our family. With little turnover, the teachers fostered strong bonds and shared in celebrating the accomplishments and growth of my kids. I loved the monthly learning themes and seeing the photos each day. We looked forward to the Chinese New Year celebrations, annual trips to the pumpkin patch, and family potlucks. I'm so thankful for this school, my boys and our family have left with lifelong friendships.

Both of my sons attended Global Friends for preschool. WE LOVED IT! The teachers are so loving and really care about each child. There are opportunities throughout the year to meet up with other families from the school: pumpkin patch, zoo, movies in the park, picnics. I appreciated the Chinese cultural celebrations that were very special to be a part of. My love for this school ALMOST made me want to have more kids just to stay involved with the amazing school and teachers!

We've been sending our toddler here for about a year now, and we would highly recommend! The teachers do a great job taking care of the kiddos, and my son has been very happy here. Global Friends also plans outings throughout the year that families can join (e.g. to the zoo, pumpkin patch), which helps develop a sense of community. Also, we are a Mandarin/English bilingual household, so we LOVE that there's a Mandarin-immersion daycare/preschool in this neighborhood for my son to continue developing his Mandarin language skills.

My wife and I couldn't be happier with our experience at Global Friends Language School. We moved to the PNW over a year ago and initially enrolled our daughter in one of the highly-rated franchised daycare. It was a horrible fit from the beginning. Our daughter didn't connect with the teachers, staff, or even other students for whatever reason. She was so stressed daily about going to school which was odd because she loved going to her previous daycare, so we decided to look for another school. Despite being a further drive, we're so grateful to have found Global Friends. The tuition was more than reasonable, especially since it's also a Chinese-Immersion program. What truly sets them apart is the sense of community and genuine care the staff and teachers have for the kids. The kids also show genuine care for the teachers as well. From the moment we enrolled our daughter at this daycare, we were impressed by the warm and nurturing environment and my daughter instantly fell in love with the teachers and friends. Even during pickup, she'll ask to stay longer to finish playing with her friends. Normally, she'll want to go home immediately. Summer and Mandy have done an excellent job of creating a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment. I highly recommend Global Friends.

We have been sending our oldest child to GFLS for over three years, and we couldn’t be happier. The low staff turnover rate means my child has formed strong bonds with dedicated staff who truly care. They also organize wonderful family outings, which foster a sense of community and allow us to connect with other parents. The engaging curriculum and nurturing environment make it a fantastic place for my child to learn and grow. Highly recommend!

I’ve been sending my baby girl here for six months so far. My kid really likes and enjoy going to school everyday. The teachers are great, taking good care of the kiddos. Fixed schedule with breakfast, lunch and napping. Also, both inside and outside areas providing opportunities for learning, playing, and children’s social development.

My daughter has been going to GFLS for almost two years now, and we absolutely love it! The teachers are very friendly and caring. It is a small class here, so I feel the kids really get a lot of personal attention! My daughter comes home singing songs in Chinese, talking about new words she learned, and sharing little things about Chinese culture. We’ve had such a great experience here! Great job, GFLS Staff!
