Bamboo International School

We have been sending our daughter to Bamboo (West Union location) for over two years now and she loves it! The teachers and curriculum are top notch and despite not having Chinese speaking parents at home, our daughter can speak Chinese fluently. We love the amount of outdoor time that the children have and the variety of learning activities they are able to participate in! We've had such a wonderful experience there so far and we would recommend it to anyone! We are so excited to send our son there as soon as he turns 13 months! Thank you Bamboo for your care and dedication to our children and their education!

I only have great things to say about Bamboo. My oldest went here for four years and now my youngest (2yo) goes to Bamboo. The teachers are caring, creative, and so thoughtful. They are so patient with teaching the kids new skills like putting on their shoes/jackets, counting, and learning to be kind. They also put a lot of thought into making fun experiences for the kids every week. My kids love bamboo!

Our son attended Bamboo school from about age 2 to 3 and we loved the experience and teachers here! The art and activities in the classroom are so creative and gaining a 2nd language is a HUGE plus. The teachers took the time with the kids and we could see the difference of how independent our little one was becoming just after a few weeks of starting. Despite our son taking a pretty nasty fall during class one time, the teachers and staff handled the situation smoothly. We would recommend this school and look forward to our 2nd starting next year!

Our daughter loves Bamboo International School, and we share her enthusiasm! I am very happy to find a place like that. The vision of the owner (Emily) and her passion for early education produced something special here. The staff is highly qualified and professional, and it is clear that they love what they do. Mandarin and music classes are amazing! Bamboo provides an outstanding quality of education and care for my child, and we are happy to recommend this place to our friends. My son joined Bamboo West Union campus for about one year. The teachers and staffs are very professional, patient and kindly. Parents are very friendly and will plan playdates. All these make me feel the school is a big family. My son learnt math, music, crafting, Chinese poetry, etc. from Bamboo. More importantly, this school train kids to be polite and self-discipline. Unfortunately, we had to move to another city so my son couldn't study in Bamboo longer, but I would like to recommend it to everyone based on my one-year experience.

I would recommend never taking your child to this facility. My child was only their for a couple of days when there was an incident when my child was left alone inside while the "teachers" were outside and bad things happened. I contacted local authorities about the incident and their was an investigation done. I was advised not to contact the facility during the investigation. So I did not. After the investigation was finished and I was cleared to contact the facility I called and the owner said that she wished I would have came to her with the problem. But for the safety of my child it was in my child's best interest to take the mater to the authorities as I did and it is my job to protect my child not to keep maters within the facility. As my child was only in the facility for a couple day and the reason for leaving the facility was the caretakers fault I thought it fare to receive at least a portion of our tuition payment back. When I brought this up I was told I signed a contract and they thought it fare I didn't have to give them two weeks notice. Morally I would have give a portion of a refund as other child care facilities I have talked to have agreed. Because not only was my child not in the facility but my child was put through an experience he/she should have never gone through.

a great way to immerse your child with other cultures. The teachers here work very personally with every kids, and the kids really enjoy it here.
