This daycare is great. Our boy loves the teachers and looks forward to going to school everyday. The staff and teachers really love and enjoy the kids they take care of and it's apparent that they really try to take care of the teachers and staff as there isn't a lot of turnover.
My son attended daycare here. We had a great experience. His teachers were so supportive and helpful. Too bad his teacher left for further education but my son still mentioned him all the time!
My oldest child attended L'Asilo for over a year. His teachers provided so much personal care and attention, and stayed in regular communication with us about how he was doing and ways to work together on his development. Everyone was very professional, even with the pandemic-related requirements required to keep everyone safe. I knew he was in good hands, and he enjoyed being there. The staff, too, was attentive and responsive. We had to change childcare facilities for other reasons, but otherwise would have enjoyed to keep our kids at L'Asilo!
We are so grateful for the wonderful care our son received at L'Asilo! The staff were friendly and clearly took the time to get to know each child attending the center. They even offered unique learning opportunities like raising butterflies from caterpillars and having a firetruck visit (so cool!). Our son spoke fondly of his teachers and clearly had great connections with them! It was a little tough for our family to plan around closures on holiday and professional development days, but we know this time was an important part of maintaining great care for the kids. Most importantly, these closures were noted well in advance -- no last minute closures like I've heard other parents experiencing. We had to change childcare due to other circumstances, otherwise we would have loved to continue attending. L'Asilo will always be special place for us.
We've been at L'Asilo for almost a year and would recommend it. It's not the cheapest and it's not the most expensive but we think we get quality care for what we pay. The teachers are sweet and attentive. They give us solid feedback and will look out for special things when we ask them to. They are accommodating on the food. They take cleanliness and sickness pretty seriously even though it might appear that there's a lot of controlled chaos going on. We do think that the multi-language environment is beneficial and have even noticed our little guy picking up some words that we don't use in our home regularly. When he leaves for the day he is tired and the next time he shows up he's excited to get in there. They do have a lot of in-service days but I also think that they have a structured plan on what it takes to maintain the quality of their staff so I'm okay with that. The facility itself is nice, not amazing, but is in a good location for drop off and clean. To the staff, we really appreciate you and saying it publicly is just another way we can express our thanks.
We love this school so much! Our son started when he was just 1 and just turned 2. We’re so impressed with the kind staff, curriculum, and great community our kiddo is exposed to each day. I always feel safe leaving him, and know he’s doing well. The vibe is really upbeat and positive. They’re very careful with Covid and provide clear policies. They offer back up care on days they’re closed. We have another child on the way and look forward to having him join. Location is also excellent.
I recently had the unfortunate experience of enrolling my children at L' Asilo by La Scuola d'Italia Galileo Galilei, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment with other parents considering this facility. My expectations were high based on their marketing promises, but the reality fell far short. First and foremost, the cleanliness of the facility left much to be desired. It's disheartening to see a daycare center neglect basic cleanliness, especially given the importance of maintaining a healthy environment for young children. The staff's attitude was another major letdown. The caregivers appeared disinterested and unengaged with the children. There was a distinct lack of enthusiasm and warmth that one would expect in a childcare setting. It felt like the staff was simply going through the motions without any genuine concern for the well-being of the kids. Communication was a significant issue throughout my child's brief stay at L' Asilo by La Scuola d'Italia Galileo Galilei. I never received updates on my child's activities, meals, or general well-being. Finally, the billing process was unnecessarily complicated. This lack of transparency added another layer of frustration to an already disappointing experience. In conclusion, my time with L' Asilo by La Scuola d'Italia Galileo Galilei was marked by subpar cleanliness, disinterested staff, poor communication, a lack of educational focus, and billing issues. I would strongly caution any parent considering this daycare center and encourage them to explore alternative options that prioritize the well-being and development of their children.
