Korean LTC at Bergen New Bridge Medical Center

I was hospitalized for 3 weeks because I needed a place where nurses and doctors are taking care of me while my family member is sick. In one word, the experience was stellar and phenomenal. Everyone there is very kind, knowledgeable, supportive, and compassionate to their patients and do their BEST job every time it’s their shift. I enjoyed the recreational time that awakens the body and mind and the Korean food is top class. If I need nursing home long term next time, this is the place I should be involved in.

My in-laws were living in New York and both gotten sick around the same time. Between two of them, 4 hospital admissions and 3 different Rehab Center in 3 months. I needed to find 24 hours skilled nursing care facility in New Jersey. I knew of Bergen New Bridge Korean long-term care unit that provides exactly what they needed, and it was in Bergen county where I live. Korean staffs, food, activities and more. I started the process of transferring them to New Jersey not knowing how or how long it will take. It wasn’t easy say the least but after three months of many calls and emails, they are happily settled in at the same facility. This would not been possible without the help of staffs in Korean service office, special thanks to Rosa, Eunice, Scott and Young . They are caring, compassionate and dedicated to help patients and their families in times of need. . I give them two thumbs up. Thank you for all you do.

My mother was admitted to emergency room for a bad infection. when she had to move to a long term rehabilitation, I looked at many facilities. With national chains and recommended local facilities, I was very disappointed in the care and the staff. When I contacted New Bridge Korean rehabilitation, I was immediately comforted by the director Mrs. Rosa Kim. When we met, she explained their directive and having conversations, I knew she was a caring professional and person. When I toured the facility, I felt the care given was different from others. Staff was friendly and open. Nurses Cho, Jung and the staff are kind people. There was a calm to the facility. When I met the head nurse and the social worker Scott , I also felt they were different in how they operated. My mom has been there 2 months so far. Having a peace of mind, that she is well taken care of and looked after is a godsend. I thank all the people at Korean long term care.
