I came for a work team building event and had the best time! A big thank you to the staff would made our team experience so memorable. They educated us throughout the process and made cooking the meal so easy and fun. We made risotto, chicken parm, and cannolis.

Today was my daughter’s 4th birthday party at Taste Buds Kitchen - Palo Alto and it was a total win. We had 20 kids, and they made their own pizzas and decorated cupcakes. Each child got a little chef hat and apron, and to say they had a blast would be an understatement. What really stood out was how organized and smooth everything felt. The team kept all the kids engaged the entire time, the timing was spot-on, and the space was clean and inviting. The kids actually ate what they made (which feels like its own miracle), and the whole experience was low-impact for the parents—easy setup, easy breakdown, and we got to actually relax while they ran the show. They even sent our daughter home with her own cute apron, which she’s now obsessed with. Multiple parents told us how much they loved doing something different from the usual gym or bouncy house party. Highly recommend if you want a fun, memorable party that’s genuinely well-run.

Susie at Taste Buds was amazing! We attended a caregivers & kids cooking class and baked spooky cupcakes with my 3 year old. He enjoyed the whole entire process and we will definitely be back.

We had a very enjoyable time learning new skills (especially new knife skills). Dorothee gave clear instructions and was always close to help when we had questions. She and her assistants had all the ingredients prepped and the knives were sharp! We enjoyed getting to know our cooking partners and all worked well together. Thanks for a very fun evening!

My kids loved the 1 day camp here! They cooked real food from scratch start to finish: cheesy garlic bread twists, smores toaster pastries, and granola bars. They had so much fun and want to come back!

We had a great time , it was so much fun . The staff was very accommodating and took really good care of us . The experience was worth the money we paid . One thing I would think about twice is ordering the extras . We ordered double the artichoke dip and double the arugula salad . The artichoke dip was great but beware it’s a very small portion . We had 3 tablespoons. 2 of 4 people and 1 of 5 people . The side of the artichoke was about a 4 oz small bowl per table with small same size bowl of corn chips . Being a cooking school I would have thought crackers or baguette slices would have been better . Now moving to the salad . The size of the salad was about 4-5 oz square bowl per table!!! That salad was enough for if really really stretched maybe 2 people . By my experience I would not add the extras . It costs us 290 dollars for the artichoke and salad . They said the reason for the salad was that they didn’t enough urugula to make enough salad but did not offer a discount or anything . That’s the only reason I gave it only 4 stars . For the experience and the staff . I would do a 5 .

Had an office event here. BYOB. So chill. It was Thai night. Made some amazing Pad Thai, Chicken satay and spring roles. Chef Jonathan was very friendly and gave us a lot of information about Thai food and just cooking in general. Overall great experience.
