Would definitely not recommend for a working adult. The Aviation program degrees specifically, are not designed for working adults. The tuition for the aviation programs are a "flat rate" and are not by the credit hour during regular semesters. 12 hours per semester is considered full time and you are charged the same amount of tuition as someone able to handle 18 hours per semester who may not have a full time job and responsibilities. I was never informed of this charging structure after taking summer classes that were by the credit hour to find out in the fall my classes were now nearly tripled. When I asked if there was some way to change this I was told too bad by the financial department. The staff is mostly great to work with although there are some professors known to be unprofessional,inattentive, berate students and who enjoy failing students, as well as show a lack of respect for student’s time, but were never disciplined after several complaints by multiple students. Paying for 18 hours and receiving 12hours is a definite scam in any other industry. They are definitely only used to working with young full time students and not adults. Prepare to be treated like a child.

The Professors are caring, and Charleston Southern University is a Christian Oriented campus, standing on the premises of creating servant leaders, in my personal opinion, they have the best administration in the state. Andre Lamont Locke

We visited for the Oyster Festival, but they were out of oysters an hour into the event and we did not get any. Disappointed there was no communication when oysters were getting low or running out. Back up food was undesirable, cold and icky. Campus was beautiful.

I am currently halfway through my second semester of my freshman year and honestly believe with every piece of me that going to CSU was the best decision I have made in my life. I'm am so glad that CSU is where God led me to go. The students and staff are very kind and the environment helps you feel safe. GO BUCS!

Had some professors that I really enjoyed and learned a lot from, but also had some I didn't like who's lessons were a waste because I learned nothing. Overall the BBA classes were quite difficult and required a lot of studying. I had 1 professor in International Business who was just downright disrespectful and demeaning to students. Also, I lost thousands of $ due to the financial aid department not knowing their job. Pros are that the campus is beautiful, nicely maintained, and has good food options at the cafeteria. Parking is also easy.
