Illinois State University

This university is average with GA Assistantships and professor relations. But it vehemently lacks support for veterans and students with disabilities. Many of these communities are hit with sudden costs, sub standard accomodations and there is no transparency. The Union has had to work hard to get students basic level resources. Lastly, their parking situation needs improvement. Excessive fees and limited spaces show that it's not investing in the right amount of infrastructure.

It was Homecoming at its always a segregated tale of two cities: ISU (Predominately) White Version and The Black Alumni Version. I chose the ladder because it represents the Soul of the institution. To make an integrated effort work you must hsve all parties at the decision making table not in a Whitewashed way but in a true multicultural way. Our tailgate draws everyone. Their activities doesn't.

My first review was removed, which just further proves my point that this University is a scamming/stealing joke. I attended a semester here, after leaving the service. I ran through hoops to get all the paperwork needed for my GI Bill. Completed everything and was told that I was good for the semester. Upon completion of the semester, my account was locked and I was told I had outstanding balances all of a sudden. Long story short they never applied my GI Bill, and then tried to gaslight me and say it was my fault for not "Ensuring that we knew you wanted to use your benefits" which is actual insanity considering the month it took just to run around to court house etc. to fill out everything for my GI. VETERANS STAY AWAY.

Redbirds basketball is awesome had a fantastic time at the newly renovated redbird arena. Highly recommend you to take in a game or two this season. Come out and root the redbirds on!!!! Off to a great start victory number one.

Watching the Annual State of Illinois Invitational High School Marching Band Championships! It is amazing to see all of these hardworking dedicated students from across the state perform

Interactions with this university were superb at a public service level. I am very supportive of it!
