Virginia War Museum

Great collection that is displayed very well. Definitely worth a visit if you are interested in history from the 1600s to today. Only $8 for adults and deals for families. I can say this is one of the best museum I have been to in my life honestly on par with the Smithsonian museums.

My wife and I had an awesome experience here! The museum walks you through the generations of battles that Virginians had a hand in protecting our country, revolutionary through modern era. It took us almost an hour and a half to walk through (my wife was rushing me it would've taken me longer😂). We had an awesome time though, they have a bunch of period rifles, muskets, swords, clothing, military vehicles. If youre into history at all, I highly recommend.

Went here on a whim while on vacation. It looks sort of small and not overly impressive from the outside but once you get in I was honestly shocked. It is hands down one of the top military museums I have ever been in. It covered all eras of the US history and had amazing exhibits and items in the displays. I cannot recommend this place enough if military museums are something that interest you!

Very cool meseum! I would say the tanks and guns etc. outside are way more interesting than the inside. The kids love this place! Family friendly although you occasionally have some shady people walking around the park.

Outstanding location. As a historian and huge history buff this museum has so many different artifacts. The variety of things from every era of War and on the homefront is astounding. I have been to many museums but this one has so many unique and different pieces. Highly recommended and will be back again.

Excellent museum with many interesting exhibits! Lots of guns and military artifacts from all the conflicts we have been involved with. We'll worth the time and small amount of admission!

The place looks small on the outside but be prepared to do alot of walking but well worth it. The gentleman at the window was polite and gave us a map of what we would be looking at. This museum is full of everything and close ups of military equipment.
