Belmont University

We saw Champions of Magic at the Fisher Center at Belmont University, a beautiful performance venue. The acoustics are excellent and there isn't a bad seat in the house. Parking is plentiful and close, though a bit hilly. Easily accessible. The show was a wide variety of comedy and magic. Lots of children were involved in the first half but don't leave this show at intermission. For an adult female, married to an amateur magician and who is into magic, the second half was very informative and entertaining.

Beautiful house lots of fun exploring all the rooms. The historical interpreters are amazing. So much knowledge about every item in the house.

Belmont University is questionable at best. My girlfriend is a Biblical studies major and much of her curriculum reduces Christ to a mere man and challenges his authenticity in scripture. I do not reccomend this University for any Christian related classes. Many professors will claim they are Christian but do not accept scripture as truth and will openly challenge its authority. The University as a whole is committed to DEI, not Jesus.

Belmont is a very good school, I just think they might eventually need to stop expanding and focus on current students. Overall, I'm really enjoying my experience here!

It's not for everyone, but I really enjoyed my time at Belmont University. The institution prepared me well for a career in the music industry and I wouldn't be the same person had I gone elsewhere. The school is excellent at setting up internships for students and the alumni network is robust. I found many of my classes to be enlightening and thought provoking. The professors and administration still uphold Christian values, but it's my understanding that secular ideals are being more readily taught and spread. In my opinion, it's healthy to be an environment filled with people of varying beliefs and lifestyles opposed to a more sheltered bubble, but I'm not a fan of misrepresentation. If you're expecting a Liberty University or Azusa Pacific University kind of experience, this isn't the institution for you. My main complaints are the food could be better and the school is growing too quickly! Their acceptance rate is out of control and I question whether the admission standards have lowered. By all accounts, it's a reputable, legitimate university, but I hope the school doesn't loose its quality and identity in the coming years.
