I cannot begin to describe how absolutely AMAZING this dojang is! Learning martial arts has always been a childhood dream of mine but at 31-years-old I thought I "aged out" until I discovered MJTKD. MJ's Taekwondo Academy, led by Master Jenni, has been a transformative experience for me and my two boys. It’s a tight-knit community that feels like family. My family and I have had nothing but the best experiences at Park's Martial Arts Academy! There is a strong sense of community, trust, and discipline. My son and cousins look forward to attending class as much as possible. PMAA is very welcoming to all kids/adults and creates such a positive environment. All the instructors are very involved and encouraging with each student. My son's confidence, endurance, and manners have grown so much since attending classes at PMAA. If you reside in Illinois and are considering about joining a martial arts dojang (or dojo in Japanese) look no further, MJ Taekwondo is the best place you and/or your kids can learn Taekwondo, not only for self defense but also to develop discipline, confidence, mental and physical strength. My kids love Master Jenny and her dedicated team of instructors. Master Jenny and her team deeply care about students and inspire them to be excellent in all they do. This place has a long history, the father started this dojang and now his daughter is carrying the legacy on. MJTKD is the best of the best

I’ve been a student at MJTKD for around 2 years now and I’ve loved every second of my time spent at the Dojang! MJ has taught me so much, not just taekwondo, but how to be a good person. Since going to TKD I now see myself as a MUCH improved person. I don’t fight with my siblings as often, I don’t get in trouble, and in all honestly I’m a happier person.
