Azusa Pacific University - Murrieta Regional Campus

I'm so thankful for my experience that I had attending Azusa Pacific University in Murrieta. I received my Master of Educational Counseling and my PPS Credential. I have been working in the Murrieta School District as a counselor since receiving my degree. I enjoyed taking night classes and my professors were knowledgeable and were able to provide me with hands on experience to prepare me for what I was actually going to do as a counselor in my day-to-day job. The secretaries were friendly and were always ready to offer support. It was fun taking classes with other students who shared my passion of wanting to be a school counselor. I'm still friends with a lot of the peers that I took classes with to this day. The professors cultivate community in the classes where you instantly have a positive, support group that encourages you and inspires you to reach your goal of becoming a school counselor.

I attended this campus for my MA in Educational and Clinical Counseling. It is much more spacious than the previous location off Los Alamos (I took classes there as well) and there is much more parking available which makes it easier as well when you're quickly transitioning from work to school. The staff was always welcoming when entering the building and the faculty is great! I feel strongly that the faculty were instrumental in preparing me more than adequately for the field and continue to be a great resource more than 10 years post graduation. Due to the size and set-up of the campus and program you re able to build long-lasting relationships and networks with your cohort and staff. Thank you APU Murrieta!

I attended Azusa for my MA in Educational and Clinical Counseling. As a single Mom of two, the convenience of taking classes online as well as taking classes at night at the Murrieta Campus was so valuable to me. Each teacher I had was incredible. The education I received at Azusa prepared me well for my career. Bonus- The Murrieta location is located next to some great places to eat. Taking dinner breaks with classmates was a great time.

Might be a great place, but based on their staff in he front I'd never attend. I was next door at Harbor Freight when my 4 year old started doing the potty dance and REALLY needed to go. Of course, the bathrooms at Harbor Freight were out of order. I walk next door and the employee/security guard "Juan" informs me my son can't use the bathroom and that "Juan" doesn't make the rules. Juan then told me I could walk across the parking lot to Sam's Club.... With a 4 year old who was already doing the potty dance. Thanks Juan. Letter of the law and spirit of the law, Juan.
