Having ONE BUS for MULTIPLE schools IS RIDICULOUS!! Elemtary schools get out at 3:05 pm and they have to wait for the Bus to pick them up from the school for hours. And they get home past 5:30pm!! Junior High students get out at 4:05 pm and same they need to wait for hours for the same bus elementary kids are riding to be dropped off and then that SAME BUS goes pick them up and takes them ALL AROUND MIDLAND CITY dropping kids off and they get home till pass 7:30 pm!!!!! What is wtong with the district??!????? Why are our kids that need to take the vus because the DISTRICT REZONED THEM being DESCRIMINATED and them having to wait HOURS OUT IN THE HEAT!!!???? None of the employees at the district answer the dam phones and when you do all you say to the parents is "thats how it is you have to deal with it" you guys never solve anything!!!! And I hope you fix this situation!!!!!

As a parent of three students (one has graduated, and another next school year) which are one boy and two girls, our girls have never had an issue in any way other than our oldest with grades, but on the other hand our son has had issues with this district since his first week of kindergarten and he is about to be in 10th grade. He has had girls destroy his belongings and the school does nothing about it (alomst a 600 dollar necklace) he speaks he gets in trouble, he laughs he gets im trouble, he breathes he gets into trouble, he tries to help he gets into trouble. No matter what he does he gets into trouble, he got suspended from the bus for simply laughing no write up, no notices no nothing just straight to suspension. It's insane the amount of violations we would see when we were able to pick them up and not have them ride the bus (maybe a month ago), my wife and I have seen so many times right infront of teachers and principals kids breaking the rules and yet nothing. MIDLAND ISD does not care about any of OUR kids in any way shape or form, and we as parents need to stand up and do something, these kids are our future and treating them less than dirt is ignorant and ridiculous in every way. This district needs some major changes because 100% most of the teachers don't care, the principals are harder to get ahold of then President Trump, the guidance counselors won't help Jr's and Sr's figure out anything when it comes to colleges, and reaching out to them is like talking to Joe Biden because they never have answers and are confused the whole time and refuse to take responsibility for anything, we have had teachers and principals blame our son for things, and when they check the cameras they are wrong and refuse to even just simply say they are sorry to us or our son. It blows my mind if they are "preparing" our kids then why are most of the kids failing at life after school?

If you’re a caregiver seeking help through Midland ISD’s McKinney-Vento program, don’t expect meaningful support. Instead of providing the assistance the law requires—like helping with documentation or enrollment barriers—they pass responsibility and ultimately call CPS. It’s incredibly disappointing that the people specifically tasked with helping children experiencing abandonment or homelessness chose not to help at all. I’ve spent hours reviewing the McKinney-Vento Act at both the federal and state level, including TEA guidance and training materials. The program clearly outlines that liaisons should help families obtain vital records and remove obstacles to enrollment. MISD claimed it was "outside their scope"—but according to TEA, it’s not. This is a system that’s supposed to protect and support children. Unfortunately, that’s not what happened here.

Staff is extremely rude at Misd. Wish I could give a lower rating. 1 star is definitely too high, for such an unprofessional and rude staff. I am a parent of 4 students and am beyond baffled with the lack of professionalism of the last person I spoke to. Who simply got an attitude and hung up without giving closure to the issue.

As a residence of Midland very disappointed in the School Board. Never once was the community contacted about changing the name of Robert E Lee High School. Why are we allowing a few to dictate their wishes on the majority? The school board caved on this one. What else have they caved on. Pretty clear their choice of a Superintendent wasn't much better than the handling of the name change. If we change the name ALL RECORDS associated with Robert E Lee High School should end as well. A new named school should not in any way reap any benefit from accomplishments by the Students of Robert E Lee High School. It would be a disgrace to allow such to happen. I trust something good will come of this disgraceful deed.

Met this dude and he made me feel bad about my body. I am very dissapointed with the quality of the service. I too had jury duty. That has nothing to do with this review I just wanted too share.
