Our group attended a conference at the Ernest Graham Center. The Center includes a one price cafe that offers various food centers. Pizza, Italian pasta and sauces. Delicious tender chicken. Green veggie of beans, and fluffy mashed potatoes. I chose chicken and juicy pin loin. The hand crated puesto chips are crisp and delicious. I enjoyed the desert stations with a parfait, cake, chocolate chip cookies and a vegan cookie. The ice cream machine offers soft serve chocolate, vs ills, and zebra twist for cone or cup. The CocaCola fountain drinks are in several places thru the food center as are the 2 ice tea and 2 Poweraid® options The workers are r tremy friendly and efficient to serve food. The students here are quiet, serious and polite. Self bussing of dishes and cups. Entry to the center is accessible either touch pad. Restrooms are accessible with heavy door and dedicated stall and 2 grab bars and 4ftx 5ft space Aisles are wide and rooms are accessible
Based on the many insightful conversations I’ve had with South Florida professionals and former students, it is undeniable that Florida International University has become a primary engine of intellectual and economic vitality for the Miami region. The common thread in the feedback I receive from friends is a deep admiration for how the campus on SW 8th Street bridges the gap between a high-energy urban environment and a truly rigorous research-driven education. Many colleagues often highlight the university’s exceptional international focus, noting that its business and global affairs programs are frequently cited by those in the know as some of the most practical and culturally relevant in the nation. It is heartening to hear firsthand accounts of how the faculty members utilize their real-world expertise to mentor a student body that is as ambitious as it is diverse. From what I’ve gathered through community circles, the university maintains a respectful, forward-thinking atmosphere that encourages students to solve local problems with global solutions. One cannot help but be impressed by the consistent success of its graduates, who many of my acquaintances describe as being uniquely prepared for the complexities of the 21st-century workforce. Ultimately, the consensus among those I trust is that FIU isn't just an institution of higher learning, but a sophisticated gateway to opportunity that remains deeply committed to the success of every individual who joins its ranks.
I’m currently doing my MBA at Florida International University and have had a great experience so far. The professors are knowledgeable, the curriculum is practical, and the network is very strong, especially in South Florida. I highly recommend FIU for anyone looking for a high-quality business education.
My experience with FIU’s Moss School of Construction made it very clear that attention to detail and basic professionalism are not priorities here. I emailed the program with simple admissions questions and received an automatic reply directing me to a second contact for immediate assistance. I followed that instruction the same day. After that, nothing. No reply from either person for more than four months. Not even an acknowledgment. When I finally withdrew my interest, the director responded—but his message referenced an "application," even though I never submitted one. That told me everything I needed to know: the email wasn’t actually read, and the underlying issue was completely missed. This isn’t a one-off mistake. When two points of contact ignore an inquiry for months, and the director sends a template response without understanding the situation, it reflects a systemic problem. If this is the level of responsiveness before enrollment, I can only imagine how students are treated once they’re actually in the program. Based on this experience, I won’t be pursuing FIU, and I wouldn’t recommend the program to anyone who expects professionalism or reliable communication.
Beautiful university campus and facilities, friendly staff and students.
FIU’s campus is vibrant, diverse, and full of energy. The mix of cultures, green spaces, and modern facilities makes it a great place to study and connect. Being in Miami adds even more opportunities from internships to beaches — making FIU a truly unique and exciting university experience.
Impressive institution. Amongst the top ranked in Florida and currently top 4 in the nation amongst public institutions ( according to the WSJ). Walking around and talking to students and faculty they really focus on rewarding the right behavior, like price reductions for volunteer work, getting a first aid certifications , etc. Lots of art around the campus. Lots of activities and thought out support programs - the likes I have not seen anywhere else.
