Spanish Hangout

Susana is an amazing Spanish teacher. She has an enormous amount of patience and really challenges you to speak the language. Her passion for teaching the language (and also the proper grammar) has been so helpful and motivating!

We have been studying Spanish with Susana for a few months now in our preparation for a move to Spain. She is an exceptionally gifted teacher. She’s very considerate and encouraging and has a way of helping you understand which doesn’t feel like correcting. After a few months we have a good basis in being able to get by as tourists and can listen and understand what’s being said to us (the most important part of learning) a little better every week. We highly recommend Susana for beginners and speakers alike.

I've had a wonderful time (re) learning Spanish from Susana. Her classes are very structured, yet informal and conversational. This is my third effort learning Spanish and her friendly environment has made me much less self conscious when speaking out loud with the class.

I've started lessons with Susana and I am thrilled with the experience. I definitely recommend Spanish Hangout! Upon moving back to the Miami area, and after five years of not speaking Spanish regularly, I started working with Susana and Spanish Hangout to improve my confidence in speaking Spanish and better understand some fundamentals of the language that I've struggled with throughout the years. Susana is energetic and great to work with. She understands critical issues that native English speakers like myself struggle with in learning Spanish, and she addresses them wisely. At the same time, she's fun to work with and I've never once felt like our classes were a chore. Susana is a wonderful teacher! With small class sizes and a great location, she makes learning Spanish fun and interactive. I am new to Miami and I was motivated to learn Spanish due to my work.
