JMAP Academy Taekwondo, Tricking, and KPOP (Formerly Choi's Black Belt Academy)

Master Jacky is AMAZING with the kids! My son has grown as a person and athlete. His school teacher has noticed his listening growth as well!

J’s Martial Art Performance provides community with an Awesome Taekwondo studio I’m Mesa. Just off the 60 you can find the studio in a small plaza on baseline. I’ve also seen some of the members at tournaments doing very well. All ages are taught and great way to get the kids active and learning discipline.

I started taekwondo as an adult not too long ago and am very happy with the doja so far. Master Jackie is amazing and everyone has just been so accepting of me and welcoming. I could tell from my first phone conversation that Master Jackie has a good heart, and now I’m even more convinced. It can be intimidating to start taekwondo as an adult, but it has been the best decision I have made. If you’re an adult looking to start, look no further! Thank you Master Jackie and everyone!

We have been very happy with the instruction and environment Master Jacky has created at JMAP! What drove us to choose this studio was that Master Jacky is an elementary Physical Education teacher. Master Jacky strikes a great balance between firm and encouraging. He is a confident, competent instructor. The studio is clean, safe, and comfortable. We've had a great experience at this studio and will continue for as long as my daughter wants to practice Taekwondo!

Our boys have been coming here for two years and it has been a great experience! They have both learned not only physical skills but have grown in their ability to persevere. Thank you Master Jacky for all you do!

Awesome Tae Kwon Do studio. My kids have been coming here for the last 4 + years. They love making new friends, learning techniques, developing discipline and confidence, and getting a great workout at the same time. Most of all, the kids have fun. Master Jacky is extremely patient, encouraging, and an excellent instructor, instills inspirational and aspirational values, respect, and integrity. Very family oriented. Love, love, love this place. Highly recommend.

Master Jackie is such a great teacher , not only does he teach Tae Kwon Do but he is also a teacher during his day job and his great patience and leadership shine through, class sizes are reasonable and not over crowded. I highly recommend that if you or your kid is interested that you come in and give JMAP a try, he runs a special for your first month to make sure it is something that you would like to commit to.
