I love being a student here! If you are focused and dedicated to your education this school has great teachers and they work with you. There’s also so many programs and things that you can be a part of that are frankly so helpful and awesome experiences. I’m a single mom and I am doing what I didn’t think was possible! Thanks to all the faculty and staff that work here!

… I applied for school and did my assessment as well as compete my financial aid, but no one has contact me about anything. Jacob and Guy while both have great phone voices, neither followed up once their calls were abruptly disconnected? And I express concern that I would not be in time for October 11 classes. Guy brushed me off when I ask he said wait even longer on an email as he states I should’ve had by now. He was very discouraging when I ask about coming in person to resolve the matter of me academic suspension from over 10 yrs of proper and he told me to wait further. How? Today is October 5 Thursday. I decided once he worked with me for 10 minutes and was disconnected and he didn’t call back, the best thing I could do was visit. Don’t be discourfrom going to the campus. Everyone was very nice and helpful and pointed you where to go and honestly the resolve was instantaneous! The campus looks nice they’ve added a great bookstore that we didn’t have when I begin here. I am taking advantage of the jumpstart program and when you haven’t been in school for a long time it’s best to do things in a where you’re comfortable. Some of us do better with physical action rather then waiting. Asserting yourself is still a great practice. Don’t wait for an invitation. It’s where you will have to have a working relationship with others. It can be frightening accumulating debt again or for the first time, I would suggest going in and talking to be clear again on what steps YOU NEED TO TAKE. Don’t wait, it could cause you to miss deadlines

I'm only giving this college a one star because I can't give it zero. I have had the worst experience ever trying to attend college at this campus. From the school not verifying my student loan in time for classes to them dropping me from every class I was enrolled in. The money from the student loan has already been dispersed to the college, but now I have to go through the process of re-enrolling according to them. Classes have been going on for three weeks now, and I've attended each day they were held. Now I will miss tests in my MT 150 class thanks to the college. It's ridiculous that a college that is supposed to help their students is so negligent. They don't help at all, even when you call them. One person will tell you one story and then the next time you call they will tell you something else. Their phones don't even connect to the campus but go to an offsite location where no one can actually be of any assistance. I would rather attend Ivy Tech or Galen for my nursing degree. Thanks for nothing JCTC.

I have been attending to this institution for a year and I have only positive words for it. Is a great opportunity for those who have to struggle with money but want to become professional. The professors are like friends. I always recommend it.

The School is awful. There is no other way to describe it. It's a shame because they actually have some thoughtful Professors there who give a damn. It's the rest of the school that's terrible. The staff is clueless. I can't tell you the number of times this school has misplaced paperwork or said they notified someone via email but never sent anything or an adviser has failed to follow through. Every time this happens, the student has to go back and clean up the mess. The only thing they are guaranteed to follow up on is BILLING so they can get paid. This school is just in the business of running students through. Outside of a few good professors, the rest of the school doesn't care about the students at all. Check their graduation rate - it's something like 15%! And transfers to other schools do not explain that figure..... They just go through the motions to try to get a minimal amount of financial aid possible. Other than that, this is the We Don't Care School. I left the school in disgust to attend elsewhere, Unfortunately, I also wasted a lot of time here before leaving.

Terrible. Had family member who couldn't get any answers from this school regarding financial aid and after wasting months finally got answer about aid outside of the school. That's how smart the staff is, the student has to go find their own answers and inform the school staff. Staff then blocked student from receiving advising. They said the advisers would not be able to help with class advising because student had no academic record to base this on. The student only needed one more class to graduate! All these classes/credits were clearly in the school's records. Does this make the staff sound dumb?? You be the judge. As long as you can do everyone else's job at this school you will be fine.

JCTC is the perfect example of the old adage"you get what you pay for." The courses do a very poor job of preparing students for moving on to better learning institutions. I speak mostly of the math and science courses which I found particularly infuriating. Too often I was forced to seek help outside the college because the instructor and or course materials did not provide me with the information necessary to complete the course. I highly recommend you invest your time and money elsewhere.
