Loyola Marymount University

Very large open space with public access. Very good conservation, little car traffic, ample parking and the few roads open to vehicle traffic, very well organized circulation. Expansive views of the City of Los Angeles. There is tranquility in an atmosphere of respect.

Beauty and peace would describe this campus. A very serene environment on the hill overlooking a big part of Los Angeles. Large acres of grass with everything looking like in order and clealiness. Towards sunset you get some incredible pictures of the beachfront. People also seeme very calm and helpful. Starbucks and other food and drink places all around the campus. At the very edge is a beautiful church.

During my visit to this university, I was genuinely frustrated with how the security team operates. They often seem unaware of what’s happening around them and follow procedures in an overly rigid, almost mechanical way. It’s similar to what some call "Wachter syndrome" — a mindset where someone follows the rules for the sake of the rules, without any understanding of the context, which ends up disrupting things rather than helping. For Americans, the closest comparison would be extreme gatekeeping: rigid control with no practical purpose. In my opinion, the university should seriously reconsider how its security staff are selected and trained, or think about replacing the contractor responsible for providing these services.

Beauty and clean style and good students here Future bright. Very friendly as well. A lot fit students healthy life and gym look great architecture God Bless All

Cool campus, serine and calm place to recharge after a year’s work. This picturesque gardens provide the perfect climate to reflect and rejuvenate. Temperatures are in the mid sixties all while floating in pure sea breeze coming from the pacific waves only 3 miles away. Try it; there’s a Starbucks cafe too.

Loyola is a welcoming family. We had a weekend of bonding with our first-year students and their families; we felt welcomed and appreciated. It's a good fit. Let's Go & Keep Going! Love Always. #GoLions

Phenomenal campus full of everything you need to learn. From books to microscopes, LMU will help you learn things you didn't even know you didn't know. If you are around the area, definitely recommend swinging by and saying hi to my buddy Marc.
