Hwang's Taekwondo Center 🥋

We used to go to another martial arts place. Out kids werr bores and unchallenged. A coworker suggested HTC. Master Jason and his team have exactly tue right temperment and balance between dicipline and fun. My kids are learning to defrend themselves and learning to be in charge of their destiny as well. We highly recomend it . Be advised that this place had relocated to the balcony above Ralph's on Pico and Beverly. They are amazing

Wonderful experience!!! Master Hwang and Master Kim are real professionals. While attending, my daughter learned not only taekwondo skills, but built self confidence and self esteem. They have wonderful belt program, so a kid always stays motivated. We enjoyed it, Thank you, Masters! Also very clean studio.

Masters Hwang and Kim are skilled professionals who put in the work to match tradition with the most current behavioral and martial arts research. The pricing and value are very fair for the market. We enrolled our daughter in TaeKwonDo to help boost her confidence as an accelerated student. We are trying to find a TKD school of the same excellent standard back on the east coast. Hwang’s sets a high bar for the community.

Anyone who’s looking for a good taekwondo center near Beverly Hills area, this is the perfect place! I never had any martial arts experience, but Master Hwang’s coaches and his own way of teaching others is great. It is always very fun to be there and you will most definitely enjoy every single one of your taekwondo classes at that place, as I did! I never wanted to skip any classes unless I’m sick, because being there is truly enjoyable and you will always feel like you’re being surrounded by a lot of positive and genuine people. They always make sure to include everyone in the class and find a way to make certain things work for us. That is a great place to do taekwondo, where you can meet a lot of sincerely friendly and kind people to talk with!

Having my son attend Hwang's Tae Kwon Do has been one of the best decisions. I am grateful to Master Jason for being a great coach, mentor, and role model. I enjoy and learn from Master Kim's serious and fun approach to coaching children and patiently teaching them the tactics. My son has become more confident and disciplined.

We have been a part of HTC for over 3 years and now have 3 family members participating in classes. It has been a great experience for all. The whole HTC team are fantastic. My son and has learned discipline and confidence and now my daughter has started on the same path. This is the first sport that my kids have wanted to stick with and get excited about each session. My wife takes the family class with my son and has enjoyed the chance to participate in an activity like this with our son. The instructors are patient, humorous, and fun to be around. If you're interested in finding a sport that the whole family can enjoy, TKD is it and HTC is the place!

All the 5 star reviews are completely true and valid. If you are looking for the best masters in Beverly Hills, look no further. My son has been in this dojang since the age of 4 and received his black belt recently. Master hwang and master kim are by far the best in the field of tkd, and they are amazing at what they do. Many other tkd masters know them by name, and even through obstacles like transitioning to zoom during lockdown from the pandemic, they did it effortlessly and my son was still learning his forms (poomseh) as if it were in person. The masters here are devoted to their students, and never lets anyone get behind. They pull each student through all trials, and my son is forever grateful to have been taught by them. As a parent, I am forever thankful for the opportunity we had being able to work hard under these masters' instructions. My son is confident and so very proud to have gone this far in his tkd journey. Because of these masters' teachings, my son is determined to continue his black belt journey. Thank you master hwang and master kim! You both are amazing masters and people. We are forever grateful.
