Mid 7 Asian Market

I was like a kid in a candy store. Staff is super friendly, helpful, and will chat with you if they have time. I got lots of goodies including tons of new fruits I've never tried. I got frozen durian, and calamansi juice. Got some frozen treats and ingredients for Filipino spaghetti. Filipino is their main thing but they have lots of things from Thailand, China, Japan, etc. I love it all. I got so much fun stuff. If you want a cool market to stop at that's on the smaller side but has very specials the items, this is it. Is all very fairly priced. I was in exotic taste heaven m I love it. I will be back soon. These are the last bastion of independent grocers in America. Yeah you can find some stuff at Meijer now but let's support our friends. I personally left them a tip I encourage you to as well. Oh and they have fresh food in the adjacent building. I'm sure it is incredible. They can explain what everything in the store and food spot is to you. I know a lot about food over there but nothing like they do. If you're into anything new and fun and like exciting things and new flavors from foreign countries sold by an awesome staff, this is the place. I couldn't be happier but due to my limitations in food with my whole end stage colon cancer, I'm very limited what I can eat. I could have very small portions of anything. They sell a lot of smaller portion stuff and lots of bigger stuff. I want the people who work at this market now that they made the end of my life much brighter. I'm not going to anywhere soon as i feel great. But eventually it will get worse. I'm already pretty stuffed up but whatever. Food, especially this kind, is my favorite. I have the most profound day of my life yesterday and my visit to your market was the absolute cherry on top. God bless you all you made someone's life that much better. Update 1/15 PS THE BANANA SAUCE IS SOOOO LEGIT. Put it on my extra crispy hash browns and was mindblown. Tastes kinda like tomato ketchup, but has much more smoothness and sweetness because there are bananas instead, which is actually not the prominent flavor of this ketchup/sauce. I loved everything so far. Wow just wow. A hidden gem. Go now.

Amazing selection. Philippine and Asian staples. Fun array of snacks, frozen goods, and sauces galore! Come find new ramens and imported Asian staples. Owner was so kind and helpful. I can’t wait to cook!

Checked out the Mid 7 Asian Market in Livonia today. It was a great experience! It was our first trip. They had an amazing selection! We picked up several new things to try. Lady was so nice and recommended a Filipino ice cream to try on our next visit. Lots of flavors. I cannot wait to go again. The teriyaki squid and Yummy Flakes shrimp flavor are what we have tried so far. We enjoyed both! Place was super neat and clean!

I love this shop! They have lots of Filipino goods, and easy access to basic Asian cooking ingredients. Family that owns the shop is so kind as well. Please support this business!! 🙂

Very clean and brightly lit it looks freshly painted,they have a great selection of rice Ramen and teas the guy that works there was very helpful and translated the labels for me so I could make an informed decision on wat to buy

My wife is Filipino and gets about 70% of the ingredients she needs for cooking. And the staff are great!
