JEI Learning Center

JEI Learning has been a great fit for our 2nd grader. Over the past two years, the step‑by‑step workbook program and individualized pacing have really strengthened fundamentals in math and English. We’ve seen a clear boost in confidence as our child moves ahead at their own pace while still feeling supported, not pressured. The center is well organized, the teachers are patient and communicative, and the overall environment is focused on learning. I’d recommend JEI to families looking for steady, long‑term academic growth in the early elementary years.

Balancing work and keeping up with my daughter's school curriculum felt overwhelming at times. JEI has been an absolute lifesaver! My daughter was struggling with some core math concepts, and JEI helped her work through those challenges with excellent coaching and daily practice workbooks that really solidified her understanding. Beyond the academics, the staff is incredibly encouraging, and my daughter genuinely looks forward to attending because of the fun games and contests they organize. We're so grateful for everything JEI has done—keep up the fantastic work!

Amazing place for leaning and great environment. Ms. Jana assessed my child’s level and made customized plan specific for her needs. My daughter had struggle with complex math - problem solving, geometry, and what not. JEI did an excellent job. Math is her favorite subject now. The classes are very well structured and organized. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and very helpful. They do take time to explain and to make sure the kid understands the process. Any questions are answered and resolved immediately. Periodic assessments are performed and are shared and discussed with the parents. Overall a very good place. We are very happy.

Finding JEI in Livermore was one of the best things that happened to us in 2016. Our 7-year-old boy who is in the second grade was not doing well in public school. He had similar learning issues in the first grade, so we’ve been searching for tutoring programs for a while. We tried various programs, like Kumon, tutors, etc. While they may have helped a bit, the biggest issue we found was that it was not aligned with the course work he was doing in school. As such, he was learning stuff that didn’t result in better grades and may have resulted in lower grades as there was even less time for real school homework. A while back some friends told us about the JEI program in Pleasanton, but we wanted something locally. Anyway, in September 2016, at the Children’s Fair at the Livermore Community Center, while standing at one of the concession booths a lady standing nearby approached me and asked if I had heard of the JEI Learning Center. I told her I was familiar with the program but didn’t want to drive to Pleasanton. That’s when she said something that really got my attention, "we are located in Livermore." We had just put our son into another program and had hired a tutor. I couldn’t help thinking, I wish I had known that several weeks earlier before paying registration fees. OK, time for decision making; it took about 10 minutes of thought—sign him up for JEI. Here’s why—they teach the common core; it is aligned with the school work he is expected to do; the learning materials are great, even better than what the public schools provide; the instructors are professional; and they are open every day. I’m not asking you to believe me, your child’s education is too important—check it out for yourself! As an update after 5 months, our boy is doing better in school and learning a lot—we’ve seen considerable improvement. Our only regret is that we should’ve started this program several months sooner.

Highly recommend this place. My daughter goes to Livermore JEI center for a couple of years for both Math and English that helps to make consistent progress at school in both subjects. Thank you to all the staff at JEI Livermore!
