Lexington Arts & Crafts Society

This is such a gem in Lexington. I have visited it many times. It’s run by local artists and crafts men and women from the Lexington Woodworkers Guild, Pottery Guild, Metal and Jewelry Guild, etc Shows, exhibits and gallery sales include works from local artists, students and special groups. It’s highly worthwhile a visit!

LexArt is a hidden gem! The lovely newly appointed gallery just opened with plenty of virus precautions in place. It's definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful space showcasing local artists. Small venue is perfect after a lunch or between activities. Spend 20-30 minutes unless shopping stunning finely crafted pieces for sale. Finds include jewelry, wood works, toys and decor pieces in pottery and paintings.

December is an exciting month at LexArt! When I went in the other day I was greeted by friendly, volunteer staff and sparkling lights and seasonal decorations for the Holiday Marketplace. The displays of jewelry, wood items, ceramics, mittens and other needle crafts, paintings, photographs, woven shawls and scarves, cards, and other great gift items are beautiful and varied. And not only is the Holiday Marketplace wonderful, but the opportunity to learn more about the art classes taught there and the art shows that take place in the Gallery add even more interest to this lively place. Come in and see for yourself!

A true Artist and Craftsperson institution that offers membership to 9 different guilds from metalsmithing to woodworking to weaving and fiber arts, painting, ceramics and more. A variety of workshops with expert instructors. A new gallery space featuring art and craft of members as well as outside curators. The gift shop is a great place to buy a handmade gift!

I'm thrilled to have 3 pieces in the current show--The Chemistry of FiberLab--at LexArts' new, beautiful gallery! It's a lovely place and the LexArts artists and volunteers I've met are knowledgable and enthusiastic.
