We absolutely love Kick To Victory Martial Arts. My child has changed so much in confidence, discipline, and attitude since starting here. The Master and instructors are truly outstanding They teach authentic traditional Taekwondo with incredible skill, professionalism, and heart. As a Korean family, we were looking for a dojang that preserves real Korean Taekwondo traditions, and we finally found it here in Austin. My child already earned a black belt in Korea, so it was very difficult to find a school in the U.S. that teaches at the proper level and with true authenticity. Meeting these masters was such a blessing their technique, discipline, and teaching philosophy are truly top tier. This is not just a martial arts school. It’s a place where children grow in character respect, confidence and perseverance. If you are looking for REAL traditional Taekwondo taught by highly skilled masters who genuinely care about their students, this is the place. We feel incredibly grateful to have found them. Highly highly recommended.

My son absolutely loves Kick To Victory! We’ve noticed a big difference in his focus and determination not only at home but in school also! It’s given him an outlet to learn Taekwondo as well as build his life skills. Master Son and Master Danny are incredible and I can’t recommend them and Kick To Victory enough!

I enrolled my 6 year old daughter so she could build her confidence up and have better listening skills. Parents and students who have trained with Master Son in the past always say they never regret the experience and now Leander(in Austin) families have the opportunity to experience the same. I’ve known Master Son for many years, and he is an exceptional master. Back in Korea, he was already a highly respected Taekwondo coach, and he continues to be an outstanding master today. With his deep experience and dedication, I’m confident he will help your children grow not only in Taekwondo skills but also in important life qualities such as focus, patience, self-control, and confidence. I am beyond thrilled to write this review and I can only hope to fully capture how wonderful and passionate these people, their values, the curriculum, and their spirit are. Master Son and team are a true treasure in this neighborhood. I have 2 kids, aged 5 and 8, and my goal for each kid was different. For my older one, I wanted her to have more confidence; I noticed she doesnt feel comfortable using the louder register of her voice. I noticed she slouches in her chair at school and at church, and although she is a sweet kid, she needed some help having more discipline over her posture and attention. After 5 weeks at Kick to Victory with Master Son and Coach Danny and team so far, I have already seen SUCH A VAST difference in the way she shows up at school and at home; she sits up straighter, is eager to says "yes sir!" And "yes mam!", and she actually looks forward to class. I am so grateful we found such a great way to gain so many valuable skills with just this one activity. I have a 5 year old as well who is squirmy and wiggly. Unlike other studios in the area (even bigger well known ones) where the instructors seemed overwhelmed, stressed and inexperienced with harnessing energetic little ones, Master Son and team are EXPERTS at making sure each kid is addressed at their level. The kick to victory class for littles (3-5yo) has been a perfect fit for us. At other studios in the area, we left disappointed and discouraged that there might be something wrong with our kid or that our kid was just not "tkd material," and its extra hurtful when thats why we were pursuing TKD in the first place! We were seeking safe sensory outputs for our son thru TKD, and Kick to Victory has been the first and only place we have felt fully welcome, addressed and helped. They make TKD fun, appropriately kid friendly, and appropriately serious when needed. Such a balance. We already see our son blossoming, tuning his ear towards instruction better, respecting authority better, and having better attention. We are sooooo grateful for Ms Mia, Instructor Jordan and Instructor Kang (San) as well, and they are so kind, attentive, sharp and present with the students. Lastly, I want to say that when you start TKD, you will likely see how it naturally becomes a big part of your week, and therefore a big part of your life. It is important to seek good people because their attitude, values, mentality is what will influence your kids. When I see Master Son, Coach Danny, Ms Mia, Instructors Kang and Jordan, I get so excited to see how their positive values (discipline, integrity, honesty, humility, sincerity, diligence, respect, thoughtfulness, etc.) will affect my kids. They are a wonderful crew. As a very conscientious, selective, and observant mother, I cant say enough good things about them! If theyre reading this, I want to tell them thank you, and I look forward to many more years with you and watching my kids grow! Grateful! 🙏
