Raven and Thomas are amazing! Super helpful and professional. Place is clean. However, oh boy, that one Hispanic lady with the glasses, cleaning in the locker, she prop has had a long day. One member without slides walked in from the pool, left water marks, and she got a hella attitude. Another member walking in with towel to make sure that the staff didn’t have to clean the water marks (which I believed it’s her job also), also got yelled at. Is it our job now to clean up after ourselves , when we already pay a lot of money, and have self awareness, and "apologize" to the staff? Now I’m just so concerned what if I’m the one that got "lectured" next? And the members were so respectful also. It’s just that one lady that had hella attitude.

I had an unpleasant experience at the locker room. Someone stole my shoes. I always thought the facility was safe and such incidents would not happen, but unfortunately I was wrong. If even a simple pair of shoes can be taken, please make sure you do not leave any valuables unattended.

Personally I was reading through some of the reviews and some of them couldn’t be further from the truth! I’ve had a membership since 2020 when covid happen at the Alpharetta location and things were crazy. I had to take a break since I moved down to sugarloaf but when I got over here the front desk made me feel like I was the owner of Lifetime! Especially James he made the whole adjustment super easy and the staff gave me such a warm and welcoming tour of the facility it had felt like I had never been there before. Easily one of the best experiences I have ever had thanks to James and his staff!

As asian man accosted me in the parking lot for "following" him to the gym. I was driving behind him on Sugarloaf Parkway and he was driving erratically so I kept my distance. Once we turned into the Lifetime parking lot, he slammed on his breaks at the intersection where the parking lot splits and honked at me. Then he zoomed off. I turned left, then right so I could find a spot closest to the entrance. He was waiting for me at the end with his interior lights on. He was waving his arms and glaring at me. I parked and he parked 2 cars down from me. I waited for him to go inside so I could report him to a manager. I spoke to 2 male employees and they told me to let it go because the guy seemed drunk. 😐 why is this location allowing a drunk man to use their facilities? I was disappointed in how Lifetime handled this situation and I didnt feel comfortable going back to this location.

I’ve been a member here since 2019. For the first three years, I went to the Johns Creek location, which was outstanding. Unfortunately, the Sugarloaf location has been the absolute worst location I’ve ever been to. One of the issues I’ve experienced is that sometimes my boyfriend, who does not have a membership, will go to the café to buy a protein shake—either for himself or for me while I’m at work. Based on Lifetime’s guidelines, anyone is allowed to access the salon and the café to purchase food. This past Saturday, my boyfriend attempted to purchase food from the café and was denied access by Gloria. She yelled at him and repeatedly told him he was not allowed to access the café, even though management has previously said it was perfectly fine. Their own guidelines also allow this. Aside from this incident, on another day I brought my meal prep with me. I politely asked the café staff if they could warm up my food in the microwave. The young ladies at the front kindly explained that, due to cross-contamination concerns, they weren’t allowed to do so. I completely understood and had no issue with that. However, a tall, bald Caucasian man who works at the café—who I believe is part of management—interrupted the conversation. He began yelling at me, stating that I was not allowed to bring any outside food. I’m not exactly sure what his issue is, but this is not the first time he has spoken to me this way. Last year, there was another incident involving the same tall, bald man. I scanned my membership, went to the locker room, and realized I had forgotten my gym backpack. I went back outside to retrieve it from my car. As I was returning, someone exited through a door connected to the café and held it open for me, so I walked in. The same man screamed at me and told me I was not allowed to enter that way. I come to this gym five times a week and purchase a protein shake three to four times a week. He has seen me there many times and knows I am a member, yet he still treated me poorly. Memberships range from about $175 to $200 per month. For that price, I could have three or four gym memberships elsewhere. People who pay this much expect a certain level of service. If you’re considering signing up for Life Time, it can be a great place—but I strongly recommend avoiding the Sugarloaf location.

Yes, many of the reviews are true in a while. I can say probably 70% of the employees that work here do not have great attitudes and some of the time the facilities are not as clean as they should be I would say that the 30% of the ones that shine, they really shine bright and they go above and beyond And unfortunately, I don’t know their names but I know all of the swimming folks are excellent and the cleaning crew always have great attitudes. It’s usually the personal trainers who treat you as if you are their employee lol. So the five stars is because where else in this area can you find a facility with all of the amenities, including the cold plunge kids care basketball, sauna. anytime I leave Lifetime I feel refreshed. They even have a place where you can work which I’ve used when I need to get a workout and just put some headphones on and get some work done. Our society has become one of ungratefulness and unrealistic expectations and yes, some other locations are newer, which translates to CLEANER sometimes fresh equipment, but this location is still a great place to work out and be fulfilled in that endeavor. I do believe it is worth the price and maybe even more. I’m grateful to be a member and have been for a few years and will continue to be.
