Brad Bandit (Imperialist Iced Tea)

House of Bonsai is amazing! Incredible selection of plants and supplies. You can really tell there's a lot of passion behind the work being done here to curate all these plants. This is a nice place to visit even just to browse, it is truly a gem of a place. Will definitely be returning here in the future. Also service is excellent, got help when needed, and the lady up front was very specific with pricing.

The proprietor is so mean and harsh. It's almost not worth the $165 I paid today for a little tree. She is very knowledgeable but stingy with that knowledge. It's a gorgeous place there's no doubt about that. It's probably the only place of its kind in the whole South Bay region of California. It's a bonsai heaven. Prices are very steep.

We visited on the Friday after Thanksgiving and walked out after just ten minutes. The lady owner’s attitude was shockingly rude. When my boyfriend asked a question, she interrupted him twice with "Search, search, search," (means search on internet yourself) clearly showing she had no interest in helping or even acknowledging customers. We decided not to spend our money somewhere that treats people like this. If you don’t mind that kind of treatment, you can give it a try but good luck to the House of Bonsai.

The negative reviews are way overblown. I had a great experience and found the employees, at least the one that I met, really friendly. The owner was very knowledgeable and to the point. Prices were really good too. I'll be back and ordering via email from them

The place is really cool. I have to admit I was a bit concerned from the prior reviews but my experience was great. The staff greeted me and and my daughter as we arrived. We had a chance to see all of their potted bonsais and the prices were very reasonable. The person at the cash register gave us an overview of the tree's care and a care sheet. I would definitely come back to this place.

Huge selection. Lots of amazing bonsai. Pre and post bonsai are awesome. Owner is not really friendly. If you like to spend money and don't care, come here. They raised there prices drastically. A 200 dollar pre bonsai juniper last year is now 375 or 400 depending what staff employee you speak with. Place is still a very nice nursery, but I won't be back.

Truely a fantastic bonsai nursery. Rows and rows, too many great choices. Prices are more than reasonable for the quality.
