His very on point in teaching us how to demonstrate the skills needed in every procedure and how the exam goes. If you’re thinking about it…….. Don’t. This is school is amazing, the staff is amazing and they create an amazing learning experience. Mr Jose teaches with patience and attentiveness and is always willing to help make sure that you fully grasp all the procedures. By the time I was finished with my training I felt confident and ready to take my exam and I passed on my first try. I’m now working at Orlando health and I still use the skills and tricks he has taught me to this day. Thank you to Mr Jose and his amazing staff, I always recommend this school to anyone who ask.

I want to take a moment to express my gratitude to the owners of the school. One of the key reasons I chose this school over others was because I never felt like I was being "sold" something when I first expressed interest in their school. Jose and Javier took the time to get to know me, understand my career goals, and recommend the curriculum that aligned best with those goals. Throughout my time there, they consistently offered valuable career advice, which I deeply appreciate. Their guidance has shaped many of the decisions I will continue to make, even beyond my time at the school. I took my CNA exam in August 2024, passing the clinical portion with 100% and missing only four questions on the theoretical part, and I have Jose, the instructor, to thank for that. He structured each clinical procedure in a very methodical way, leaving little room for error or oversight, which is crucial for me. The process is designed to flow so smoothly that it’s almost impossible to get it wrong. He’s really easy going and has a great way of easing tension with jokes. It’s clear how passionate he is about teaching and helping others, and his son Javier and wife Sylvia share that same commitment. They have all dedicated countless hours providing extra training, resources, and even reaching out to Prometric to resolve issues with my license applications. This local, family-owned business goes above and beyond. I’m incredibly grateful to have found such a wonderful school, and I cannot recommend them enough.

This school is amazing! I took the phlebotomy course and it was incredible. The professor was very detailed and very caring as well. She was always present to help and show us new things. After the class ended they provide you with materials to prepare for the test to become certified. Definitely will recommend this school. Great prices... uniform and materials included. Great and kind staff always!

I was a CNA student at American Vocational Academy. The staff and teachers are very friendly and Professional. The classes are small and you get individualize attention The CNA instructor Mr. Jose is very good, the lessons are well delivered, clear and well explained. I passed my Board Exam in one sitting, which is awesome. If you are looking for a Vocational school I recommend American Vocational Academy.

One of the best schools I've ever attended. The instructors are very knowledgeable and professional. My instructor made sure that all students understood all the material. There is a lot of hands on training which is a plus. I recommend this school to anyone interested in pursuing medical training.
